As characters adventure and gain experience, they advance in level, gaining new abilities, improved statistics, and greater power.

Experience and Leveling

Characters gain experience points (XP) by completing quests, overcoming challenges, and defeating enemies. Upon reaching certain XP thresholds, characters gain a level and receive various benefits.

Level Progression

Each class has its own progression table that defines the benefits gained at each level, including:

• Hit point increases
• Proficiency bonus improvements
• Class feature acquisitions
• Ability score improvements or feats
• Spell slot increases (for spellcasters)
