• Animals always start at +1/rank reaction.

You may communicate with animals. This does not imbue them with intelligence; most animals can only understand emotions and simple concepts.

You can enter a state of trance, wherein your body becomes helpless, and your senses transfer into an animal. The animal can resist, if desired (contest of Willpower).

Your magic enlightens animals, and when communicating with them, they are as smart as a simple human.

Warg

You can hide your presence when warging (Stealth vs Perception). You can enter the minds of intelligent animals (i.e. humans), but they are more likely to resist forcefully, as your reaction bonus does not apply to them.
