Cooldown

Cooldown is a concept that applies to Effects. When an effect is used, it begins a "cooldown period", during which it cannot be used again.

Cooldown Description
At-will No cooldown period (except the #Global Cooldown)
Recharge There is a chance of the power recharging each round. Actor may attempt this chance at any time once per turn. Failure to exercise the option does not affect recharge chance in future rounds. May be assumed to have recharged after the encounter ends.
Encounter Cooldown period lasts until the end of the encounter.
Daily Cooldown period lasts until a Full Rest.

Global Cooldown

All supernatural Powers have a minimum cooldown of one round, overlapping with the listed cooldown. Does not apply to non-supernatural effects, i.e. Maneuvers.

Action Points

It is possible to instantly finish any cooldown (except the Global Cooldown) by spending Action Points.
