New Rp

An idea for 7.5, perhaps.

A Resource Point is hot-swappable with a Power Point, in that:

• Each time you get a PP, you can choose an RP instead.
• They buy the same things:
  • A PP buys an innate power using magic or somesuch.
  • An RP buys a power using a resource (e.g. a gun, a magic ring, etc).

This replaces the money system entirely. If you spend all of your PP/RP on magic powers, you have no (serious) equipment. You can still have clothes, food, etc (maybe how much of that you have is based on the Survival skill), but you have no equipment that renders a major mechanical effect.

Notes:

• RP makes a fine drop-in for a Power, but what about skills? Maybe you could put SP into "weapons", gaining bonuses to your weapons for how cool they are. Same for armor?
