Tongue-tied
At-will, std, ranged; subject is unable to speak coherently, causing all verbal communication to be garbled and nonsensical (Wis ends). Any spellcasting requiring verbal components has a 50% failure chance.
Tickle Torture
At-will, std, ranged; subject experiences intense tickling sensations all over their body. On turn start, they must pass a Con save to act normally; on failure, they can only take move actions or actions to end the effect.
While under this effect, the subject can spend a standard action to attempt to end it. They must locate and swat at the invisible faeries causing the tickling, making a Dex roll against your spell DC. On success, the effect ends.
Butterfingers
At-will, std, ranged; the target drops whatever they are holding if they fail a Dex save (immediately and upon each use of the item). To pick it back up, they must succeed on a Dexterity save or fail to grasp it (wasting their interaction/action).
'Kick Me' Sign
At-will, std, ranged; an magical sign appears on the target's back that says "Kick Me". Allies of the target must pass a Wis save on turn start, or else be compelled to kick the target (Str or Dex vs AC, unarmed damage). If you or one of your allies kicks the target, they inflict double normal damage. The sign remains until the target is kicked for damage once.
Schnoz-Berry
At-will, std, ranged; faeries stuff a poisonous berry up the target's nose. The target starts sneezing uncontrollably, and cannot take reactions until they pass a Con save to eject the berry. While sneezing, target fails any Stealth checks automatically due to the noise.
Rank 2 Pranks
These require a bit more commitment from the faeries, and thus cost 1 soul shard to use.
Mimes
At-will, std, ranged, concentration, costs 1 soul shard; faeries appearing as mimes appear in a designated space. This round, and on each round thereafter, they can take one action:
- Create an invisible wall (10x10 ft), which they indicate in mime fashion. The wall is in fact an impenetrable wall of force. If they trick someone into walking into it, they delight in their confusion (silently).
- Pretend Staircase: they mime a staircase leading down, by simply lowering their bodes as they walk forward. Define an area of 1x2 squares. The next creature who steps there actually falls into a pit. There isn't really a pit, but they experience a fall down a 10-ft staircase, falling prone, suffering medium bludgeoning damage, and interrupting their current action.
- Invisible Box: they mime an invisible box around a target creature, trapping them inside. The target is restrained until they succeed on a Str save to break free.
The faeries can be attacked like normal creatures. They have AC 10 + your spellcasting ability bonus, and a Dodge reaction equivalent to the same bonus. If they take any damage, they disappear in a puff of glitter. Destroying one mime makes the other cry (silently) and fade away.
Wardrobe Malfunction
At-will, std, ranged, costs 1 soul shard; the target's clothing suddenly malfunctions in a humorous way. Choose one:
- Drop Trou: subject's pants fall down to their ankles. Until rectified, they have a 50% movement penalty, and must pass a Dex save when taking any move action other than walking at 50% or less speed (such as jumping, navigating difficult terrain, the dash or disengage action, or climbing) or else fall prone. As a swift action, they can roll a Dex check against your spell DC to either pull their pants back up, or kick them off entirely; either way, the effect ends.
- Armor Malfunction: if the target is wearing armor, the faeries loosen all the straps and buckles. The target's armor bonus decreases by 1 per warlock rank until fixed. Fixing the armor requires a 1 minute action or short rest.
