| Brief | Mote of void annihilates on contact, growing more dangerous |
At-will, std, 1 soul shard; you conjure a mote of pure void, which annihilates everything it touches.
Each round, as a standard action, you can command it to attack a single target within range (spellcasting ability score vs Dex), causing heavy disintegration damage if it hits.
When you wish to end the spell, you must spend a standard action and defeat the spell's DC with a Charisma check. On failure, it does not go away, and if you fail by 10 or more, it attacks whoever it pleases. Each time the star strikes for damage, its DC increases by 1.
Feats
- Shield of the Void: As a reaction to an incoming targeted spell or attack, you can attempt to interpose the Star of the Void between you and the attack. Roll your spellcasting ability score vs the attack roll or spell DC. On a success, the star successfully intercepts the attack, and on failure, it does not.
If the star intercepts a spell, the spell is negated, and the star gains +1 to DC per the spell's energy.
If the star intercepts a missile, the missile is annihilated, and the star gains +1 to DC.
If the star intercepts a melee attack, the attacker takes heavy disintegration damage, and the star gains +1 to DC.
- Void Sweep: You can command the star to make a sweeping attack instead of a single-target attack. Within range, define a line 1 square wide by 1/rank squares long. Roll your spellcasting ability score for the attack; every target in that line takes heavy disintegration damage if they fail a Dex save. The star gains +1 to DC for each target hit.
