The Job

A minor bureaucrat from Tyr's Office of the Census presents a delicate problem. A Tyrian citizen—Savaxa Denn, daughter of a prominent artisan family—traveled to Kalidnay six months ago for a cultural exchange and has not returned. Her family has received letters claiming she has voluntarily taken up residence in Kalidnay and will not be returning.

The family does not believe the letters are genuine. They believe Savaxa is being held against her will—possibly as a "guest" of a Kalidnayan noble or official.
