Session 2 of Strength and Honor, the 2nd episode of the 2nd season of Story of a Lifetime (Overall session #29).

Took place on August 8th, 2025. PCs were level 9.

Synopsis

Having teleported to the Gloaming Wood, beyond Droaam's borders, the PCs make their way into the murky forest, tracking Teraza's trail. They encounter shadowfey, but it isn't an ambush--the fey are parleying with mysterious shadow mages and asssassins. They do battle, besting several fey and mages, routing the rest. Ultimately, they find Teraza's hut on a small island in the middle of a dark pond. She isn't there, but she left a Book of Secrets, and a humble pewter spoon--actually a powerful athame. Selina claims both, just in time for the shadow mages to return, having tracked the PCs through the forest.
