The Battle of Turakbar's Fist

Session 6 of Strength and Honor, the 2nd episode of the 2nd season of Story of a Lifetime (Overall session #33).

Took place on September 11th, 2025. PCs were level 10.

Synopsis

With the Brelish army splitting three ways, the PCs fly to Turakbar's Fist, to assist the minotaurs in its defense against the northern army. They arrive just in time to see the Brelish siege engines battering the walls. The PCs leap into action; the Queen's Chariot battles fighters, delivering a landing party to an airship--this time, with the intent of capturing it. Ariadne's secret weapon--pearls containing the power of Personality Parasite--secures the cooperation of the crew, and the PCs take control of the ship. They then use it to destroy the Brelish siege engines, turning the tide of the battle. With the minotaurs rallying, the Brelish are driven off, and Turakbar's Fist is saved. With no time to waste, they rush south to intercept the southern army at the river crossing. However, as they overfly the Duurwood, they see that the smoke from the burning forest has shifted with the winds, and the forest is conspicuously clear of any Brelish forces. Looking northwest, they see the Brelish host already encircles Great Crag.
