Deathwhisper

This amulet bears the shape of a dagger, with a skull hilt. It craves death, but only when it is at its most subtle. It gently urges the wearer to kill, and invigorates him or her with energy when its will is heeded.

• Magical Properties:
  • Invigorate: When you kill a creature without the creature ever being aware of your attack, you gain this buff, which doubles your rate of Energy/Edge/etc gain for 3 rounds. Refreshes, but does not stack. Ways to kill a creature without awareness include: sneak attacks, death attacks, supernatural abilities manifested without verbal or somatic components, etc.
  • Deathwhisper: Daily, free; you swear to kill a certain creature. For each of the next 5 rounds, you gain a cumulative amount of Energy/Edge/etc (1 in round 1, 2 in round 2, etc). If the creature is not defeated within the encounter, you suffer -50% to all stats, wearing off at 10% per day.
