Creature Traits
A hemophage has the following traits:
- Base traits as a skirmisher minion of its level
- Corporeal undead traits:
- Immune to disease, poison, and negative energy attacks
- Resist 100% (shadow), Vulnerable 100% (holy)
- Blood Drain: A hemophage can suck blood from a living victim with its fangs by making a successful grapple check. If it pins the foe, it drains blood, dealing 1d4 points of Constitution drain each round. For each round it remains grappling, it gains 25% maximum hit points. It gains any active diseases on the target while draining, to which it is immune.
- Hemolytic Rend: A hemophage's melee attacks inflict ongoing physical damage (Full Heal End, stackable)
- Blood Frenzy: A hemophage gains plus 50% damage per active bleed effect on target.
- Hypnotic Gaze: A hemophage can induce a hypnotic trance in a non-alert mind. This is similar to a gaze attack, but the hemophage and the subject must lock eyes for at least 1 full minute. An affected subject behaves as if charmed by the hemophage, and is susceptible to reasonable suggestion. (Will negates)
