Myrmeen Lhal is the real name of the ranger woman Mariam, first met by the Worthy Blades in the taproom of the Dancing Dragon in Arabel, Cormyr, in the Year of the Crown (1351 DR). She claims to have been many things in her life, including a serving girl, a caravaneer, and a hired woodlands guide. She was apparently born in the distant realm of Tethyr, in the city of Myratma, and left there due to the most recent turmoil convulsing the country after the murder of the last royal dynasty.

She has so far demonstrated many skills, including remarkable command over animals, exceptional archery, and a dual-sword fighting style.

Appearance

"Mariam" is, in a single word, stunning. She is as tall as many men (nearly six feet), with the kind of coffee-cream beauty the far southern Sword Coast is justly famous for. Her hair is the color of teak, a dark chocolate brown, and she wears it long, bound into an intricate braid to the small of her back. Her eyes are large and dark beneath full black lashes, though she appears not to favor makeup (or at least has so far found it impractical). Her strong, high cheekbones and her exceptionally full lips elevate her features from commonly pretty to distinctively beautiful.

Her broad shoulders and very distinct curves are (mostly) concealed behind the dark, well-oiled huntsman's leathers she appears to favor. She appears to take meticulous care of all of her equipment, and everything she bears shows the care she gives it.

Personality

Since joining the Worthy Blades, she has shown both a retiring quiet during most "official" engagements, combined with a subdued, but almost mannish sense of humor. She is prone to make witty, barbed comments about many situations, often under her breath or only to the people around her.
