;Countess von Durzig: Her father, Piotr von Durzig, purchased vast tracks of land in High Thay, and in 1372 held a grand gala event to celebrate his "ascension" to nobility. He intended to use the event to announce his creation as the first Count von Durzig, a move that would have been supported by Tharchioness Dmitra Flass and her faction. However, a magical catastrophe occurred that day, and he was killed.

Several years later, Empress Zahl created his heir, Natasha, the second Countess von Durzig, and he, retroactively, the first Count von Durzig, in thanks for his vast financial contributions to her cause.

Appearance

Natasha von Durzig is a young and vibrant woman with natural red hair and dark blue eyes. She is comely and well-formed, with powerful, perhaps slightly masculine features that make her seem older than she is. Despite being born a commoner, she carries herself with dignity and grace, and makes a natural addition to the old-guard nobility of High Thay.

She dresses in the fineries expected of a wealthy noblewoman, but never is her ensemble without an amulet she inherited from her father, a relatively simple silver bauble, clutching a black shard of what seems to be obsidian.
