Your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to twice your level when you gain this feat. Whenever you gain a level thereafter, your hit point maximum increases by an additional 2 hit points.

Analysis
Tough is simple but effective, providing a significant boost to survivability. At level 1, you gain 2 HP. By level 20, you have 40 extra HP. This is equivalent to having a +4 Constitution modifier for HP purposes (without the save benefits). It's particularly valuable for classes with lower hit dice or characters who find themselves taking damage frequently.
