Chosen Of Talos

Chosen of Talos is a Prestige Race for a System 6 character.

This race is applied as a template, modifying an existing race. For instance, one can be both and Elf and a Chosen of Talos.

;Subtract:

• All racial talents gained after level 1.

;Add at level 1:

• Place Magic: In place of power, where the energies of Yuireshanaar ebb, you gain 1 point of Ancient Power per 10 minutes. Your maximum is equal to your level. You may spend this power anywhere, but you may only recharge it in places of power.
• Channel the Storm: Burns 1 Ancient Power per round. In an emanation 5, winds whirl around you, and lightning sparks. You gain a levitate speed equal to your normal movement speed. Each round you keep the effect active, you gain +100% damage with all spells and maneuvers (stackable), and the emanation size increases by 5. While active, you gain the following abilities:
  • Lightning Strike: At-will, standard, long range, burns 1 Ancient Power; inflicts heavy damage plus stun (Fort ends).
  • Gust of Wind: At-will, swift, medium range; push 10.

;Add at level 6:

• Additional maneuvers during Channel the Storm:
  • Thunder Shock: Recharge 33%, standard, close burst 10, burns 2 Ancient Power; heavy sonic damage plus heavy lightning damage plus push 10. Causes siege damage to buildings.
  • Cyclone: Recharge 33%, swift, medium range; enemy is invulnerable and unable to act for 3 rounds.
• Additional ability: Control Weather. 10-minute cast, ritual, burns 5 Ancient Power.

;Add at level 11:

• During Channel the Storm, you gain a fly speed equal to 300% walking speed, and you become immune to movement-impairing effects.
• Additional maneuvers during Channel the Storm:
  • Chain Lightning: At-will, standard, long range, chain 6/4, burns 3 Ancient Power; inflicts heavy lightning damage, +100% each time it jumps.
