When you suffer Wound Points, you may opt to exchange some or all of those for Injuries.

Determining Location

You cannot choose which injury you suffer; you must randomly determine it using the chart below. Once determined, you may opt to suffer the original wounds instead of gaining the injury.

Each injury has a WP equivalence. If you gain that injury, you reduce WP by that much.

When you determine location, you may select the severity of the injury as you see fit. You suffer only one injury per attack.

External Damage

Damage from external sources, such as weapons, energy, etc.

To determine which specific arm or leg, just use common sense. If the attack came from a side arc, it's the one on that side. If front or rear, pick randomly.

Head

Severity Injury WP Description
Low Partial Blindness 10 -5 to Perception. Heals in 2d6 days.
Med Temporary Blindness 25 Completely blind, for a short time. Converts to Partial Blindness in 1d4 days.
High Permanent Blindness (one eye) 100 One eye is permanently blind. Suffer Poor Depth Perception for life, and Partial Blindness for 2d6 days.
Critical Total Blindness All All eyes permanently blind.
Low Partial Deafness 5 -5 to Perception. Heals in 2d6 days.
Med Permanent Deafness (one ear) 20 Permanent -10 to Perception for hearing-specific checks, otherwise suffer Partial Deafness for 2d6 weeks.
High Total Deafness All Permanent, total deafness.
Low Minor Disfigurement 10 Nasty facial scar; subjective effects. Heals in 2d6 days, becoming a permanent but minor scar.
Med Major Disfigurement 25 As Minor Disfigurement, but permanent.
Med Mild Concussion 20 Suffer Nauseated, DC 20. Lasts 2d6 hours.
High Serious Concussion 50 Unconscious for 1d3 rounds, then Nauseated, DC 30, for 1d4 days.
Critical Coma All Unconscious. Chance to awaken after one hour, then one day, then one week, etc. Healers can help. Suffer atrophy if unconscious for a long time.
