That's what it's all about.

Aether enhances everything. Even purely mundane beings are made stronger and more capable by it. And of course, in the hands of a Sylvan, Elemental, Netherkin, etc, it becomes that much more potent and apparently supernatural.

Pure Aether does not exist in nature, although it can be distilled through Artifice. However, lacking such tools, it is possible to find "denegerate" Aether in nature. Such energy has been permanently "flavored" with an elemental or natural energy. It is still quite useful, but restricted to uses in line with that energy type.

What forms might it take?

• Elemental Cores: found growing in elemental nodes, or at the hearts of slain elemental beings, these powerful stones readily slot into various artificial tools to power them. In the hands of an Elemental of appropriate type, they are raw power incarnate.
• Semina Vitae: can be seeds, blossoms, fruit, etc. Brimming with power, these expressions of natural life have quite a bit more potency than they may seem on the surface. They are found in nodes of natural power.
