A member of the Veiled Alliance, Akshay has made a career of working against the interests of Sorcerer-Kings and their agents. A consummate treasure-hunter, he specializes in infiltrating ancient ruins and recovering lost artifacts, with the principle motive of keeping them out of the hands of tyrants. Within the guild, he is picky about his contracts, refusing to aid those whose morals he finds questionable. His trust in the guildmaster is unwavering, so he is happy to entrust her with the most dangerous of arcane relics.
Known for his unflappably positive attitude and quick wit, Akshay is a favorite among his peers. He has a knack for making friends in high places, and his extensive network of contacts often proves invaluable when navigating the treacherous political landscape of the region. Despite his easygoing demeanor, Akshay is a shrewd negotiator and a formidable opponent when crossed. Often, he is able to get all he wants from his opponents while making them feel like they have won something in return.
Within the guild, he tries to be a mentor and "big brother" to all of the younger members, many of whom look up to him as a role model. He encourages them to take risks and follow their passions, while also stressing the importance of loyalty and integrity. While nowhere near as harsh as Abdul, Akshay nonetheless knows that the guild needs to hone its members into capable operatives, and he pushes them to be their best selves.
