The Twilight Forest
A forest whose canopy is so dense and so high that the floor knows only a permanent blue dusk. Nothing shines here, which is precisely why the Spriggans covet things that do. Light itself is a currency in the Twilight, hoarded as bottled foolsfire, polished chitin, and stolen dew-glass.
Geography
Old closed-canopy forest with almost no undergrowth, navigable at ground level and nearly impossible to cross from above. The canopy is a second country in its own right, and the two are not on speaking terms.
The Duskmarket
A settlement built on and inside a fallen giant of a tree, where anything at all can be bought and nobody asks its provenance. The Kingdom's official position is that the Duskmarket is a den of thieves. Its unofficial position is that the Ring's noble houses do a great deal of business there through intermediaries, particularly in items they would rather not be seen purchasing.
Relations
The Twilight Forest borders the Nightwood, and the border is not clearly marked. Spriggans and bugbears understand one another rather better than either will admit in mixed company — both make their living in the dark, and both are used to being described as monsters by people who have never been there.
