Automata
Automata are servants created by artificers to do the work of humans. They can accomplish tasks ranging from simple brute labor to surprisingly dexterous craftsmanship.
The most basic automaton is the homonculus, a simple servant capable of only the most primitive tasks, essentially the same as a wizard's familiar. However, more capable automatons exist.
