Calendar
Idea: Imperata GorunovaVedic Calendar]] measures time by the motion of celestial bodies, each with their own, arbitrary orbital period. The Imperial Calendar resets to 0 every time a new Emperor is crowned. To make matters worse, the length of a year in either system is different.
For game purposes, the Vedic Calendar is used, though most in-game figures will refer to concepts existing only in the Imperial calendar such as "weeks". If it is important to track weeks and months, the Imperial Calendar should be used. For historical purposes, the Vedic Calendar is more useful, since it presents a consistent chronology going back almost 4000 years.
