Dahlia is known to very few. A desert wanderer, she follows her intution to find the dead and the dying, and guides their spirits into the world beyond. Following an ancient tradition, she uses her power to see and speak to spirits to bring peace and comfort to the dead, and guide them to their rest. She walks The Black with ease, traveling the landscape far faster than any physical creature could. In so doing, she can cover the whole of the Tablelands herself, although the pace of death often outstrips even her capabilities.

Appearance
Dahla is slightly tall for a Pyreen, standing around 5'8". She has a slender build, with dusky skin, copper eyes, and black hair with subtle copper highlights. Her tail is short compared to other Pyreen, and her horns are copper-colored, curving upward into an almost crown-like shape. She typically looks distant or haunted, as she constantly sees the spirits of the dead, and the spirit world beyond the sight of mortals.

Abilities
Dahlia is not given to physical combat, avoiding it where possible. Her song is the song of the Soul, giving her power over life and death, particularly the transition between the two. She can see and speak to spirits, and guide those of the dead to their rest in The Grey. While not her preference, she can easily separate the soul from the body, either temporarily incapacitating someone, or killing them outright, per her choice. Combat with her ends swiftly and simply, without the complexity and artifice of tactics, maneuvers, and damage types, as she can simply snuff out life an instant. Since she can see into the soul of any living creature, and help them realize the truth of their own soul, she rarely needs to resort to such violence.
