Faerie Stature
A Faerie four inches tall stands as a six-foot human does: everything is one eighteenth the size. The median male is about 3.83 inches, which is 5′9″ at human scale. The median female is about 3.53 inches, which is 5′3½″. Most Faeries fall within a sixth of an inch of their median, and nobody living stands a full inch from it.
The races differ only slightly, and each varies about as much as the population as a whole. Pick one below to centre the charts on its median.
- Height is barefoot.
- Human scale is the same build at human size, for anyone who thinks in feet and inches.
- Ideal weight is the healthy range for that height (a human BMI of 18.5–25, scaled by the cube of the size).
- Rarity is the share of the race, of that sex, at least that far from the median in that direction. For the Kingdom as a whole, the last column counts them among its six million subjects, half of each sex.
