Fed up with being treated like the trash that littered his home, the Big Cheese (whose original name remains known to few) decided to do something about it. He consolidated power and influence in the underground, becoming a crime lord of considerable stature. His contempt for the faeries is legendary, with his stated ambition to take over the city entire, exiling the snooty faeries that look down upon him.

While his people have always been salvagers making use of the faeries' refuse, under his leadership, they have graduated to straight-up thievery, robbing blind whichever storeowners, warehouse operators, and bankers don't pay their exhorbitant protection fees. No business is too low for the Low Drain, but of late their illicit drug trade has been heavily gutted by competition from the Blood Baroness--an insult all the more personal because she is the only true faery among the crime lords of the Undercroft.
