Alfheim

Alfheim is the radiant world of the Light Elves — luminous, long-lived beings of uncertain origin who may be cousins to the Aesir, an earlier work of the same hands, or something stranger still. Their world knows no true night; its star is wrapped in a shell of orbital mirrors and light-sails that bathe every surface in soft, shadowless day.

The Ljosalfar are artists, archivists, and dreamers, and they keep their own counsel. Asgard names Alfheim an ally; the Light Elves call it something more courteous and less binding. The realm was granted to Freyr as a tooth-gift, which complicates everyone's claims.
