Hunter-Killer
The colloquial term "Hunter/Killer" describes several variants of VTOL aircraft in service to the Commonwealth. The name stems from their fierce reputation as inescapable harbingers of doom for lawbreakers, highwaymen, and enemies of the state. The Commonwealth's strict stance on crime and punishment means that officers often execute a "shoot first and ask questions later" approach to law enforcement, particularly in the Barrens and the more lawless expanses of Old Town. While H/Ks are not the only vehicle used by Public Security, they enjoy their particular reputation due to their speed, resilience, all-terrain capabilities, and unparalleled weaponry.
There are two major vehicles in service that are commonly referred to as H/Ks:
