While conducting the salvage of the Trade Federation Lucrehulk-Bulk Carrier Starworm and evading the Carrack-Class Cruiser Lissepius, the pirate vessel Argo was contacted by one Marka Durn, a former colleague of deceased Captain Harl "Shrike" Keto. Durn indicated in his message that he had discovered clues to the location of one of the treasure stashes of their former captain Celis Mott.
After a brief touchdown on the pirate haven Ord Antalaha to sell their salvage from the bulk freighter, the pirate ship made it's way to the backwater planet Cadinth in the Allied Tion Sector. Faking an engine malfunction, the Argo ducked swiftly beneath the noxious cloud cover of the planet to avoid tangling with the local government's pet Dreadnaught cruiser, the Glorious, and touched down in one of the many sandblasted ruins that dot the planet's surface.
Leaving Johner Varad in charge of the ship, Lazar Cortess and Eris Darkhope took a speeder bike into the capital city of Saskapeg to rendezvous with Marka Durn in the Vapor Scream cantina. In the dive, they encountered someone they believed was Durn, but who turned out to be nothing more than a confidence man hired by the Updrafts swoop gang as bait for Durn's contacts. Mistaking Lazar and Eris for Shrike and Vectra Thul, the swoop gang attempted to take the two into custody and was soundly defeated.
The captain and XO spirited "Durn" away from the cantina, but not before encountering a strange droid, R5-A9, implanted with a simulation of Durn's memories and personalities as a fail safe should he die, which had apparently occurred. Resolving to flee the planet, the ship was soon contacted by one Captain Xishel Fal, a Zeltron pirate and member of the growing Dark Wing armada. She attempted to bully the fleeing ship into turning over the droid and the coordinates to Mott's treasure, and when that failed, had one of her fighter craft hit them with a dummy missile implanted with a tracking device to follow them to their destination.
The Argo obliged, and after a few dummy hops, set a course as set by their new found business partner, the droid R5-A9 who traded the coordinates to the treasure in exchange for a 20% cut of the haul. The destination was a rogue planetoid, stellar object R-31987-4, drifting in dead space. After navigating a black asteroid field, the crew was able to secure a cargo container. No sooner had they locked the container onto the tow lines then they were contacted again by Captain Xishel, this time aboard her Marauder-Class Corvette Firenova.
The Zeltron captain again attempted to bully the crew into turning over the treasure, but an unexpected threat emerged which caused both crews to unite their efforts. The Dreadnaught Glorious emerged from hyperspace, having been commandeered by an Imperial agent named Holo Vesh, claiming to be arresting both crews in the name of something called the Inquisitorious Commission.
With deft flying by Cyrin Akif, and an able distraction in the form of the Firenova, the Argo was able to evade heavy turbolasers of the Glorious long enough for the crew to unite the Force powers of Eris, Pandora, and Zhaanah Zot'oh to hurtle a massive asteroid into the bridge of the ramshackle Dreadnaught. The impact was enough to cripple the ship, buying time for the Argo to escape with their prize and leaving the Firenova to salvage the dying behemoth.
After thoroughly checking their prize for old traps and dangers, the crew unlocked the container and claimed the Treasure of Celis Mott.
