Feats of Skill
The following feats may be taken by characters with the prerequisite skill ranks:
Rank 1
- Evade and Counter: You may "critically Dodge", applying your normal critical chance to a Dodge attempt. If you succeed, you may take an immediate attack against your attacker, if within range. The attack may be any standard or swift action you would normally use for attack.
- Mobile Dodge: On a successful Dodge, you may take an immediate 5-ft step (max once/rd).
- Uncanny Dodge: You may Dodge attacks of which you were not aware by spending an Action Point for each such attack. (Does not apply to your flanks, only to unseen enemies)
Rank 2
- Evasion: You may dodge area effects; however, since area effects don't use a hit check, instead, the DC is 10 + 10 per square of distance between you and a safe square not in the area. On success, you leap to that square. Target square must be within a single move. Once used successfully, Evasion goes on cooldown for the round.
- The Maneuver: When you successfully Dodge an attack made by an enemy who is flanking you with one of his own allies, you cause the attack to affect the ally opposite your attacker instead. The same attack roll is used.
Rank 3
- Eyes in the Back of Your Head: You may Dodge attacks coming from your flanks or rear arc. You suffer -5 to the former and -10 to the latter.
Rank 4
- Improved Evasion: Requires Evasion. There is no longer a cooldown, although you still cannot exceed your movement speed in any given round. Also, even if you fail the check, you take only half damage, unless you fail by 10 or more.
