Synopsis
SESSION SUMMARY
The party awakens a psionic fungal entity by reviving a petrified tree with time magic, leading to a brief combat against a metaphysical fungal construct made of spores and horns. Pip communicates via Rapport Spore but fails diplomacy; the group defeats it with fire, desiccation, aging touches, psychic blasts, and claws. The revived tree blooms with extinct fruit, seeds, buds, and attracts ancient wildlife like a pregnant lemur (Maki), hummingbirds, and bugs, which they stasis in jewelbug cases. They harvest fruit, wood, and buds, pruning branches for transport. Travel delays from haze prompt camping; they desiccate resources for pure water. At a large caravan campsite, they trade fruit, dried goods, water, bronze, and bugs for copper, gems, resins, amber, young mekkilots, kanks herd, and a Thri-kreen's 3D glass map disc of distant lands. Vis frees slaves by buying/killing the slaver, turning him into a fungal zombie thrall. They acquire wagons, animals, and negotiate without reprisal due to water aid. Night travel under clear skies leads to an obsidian obelisk site with a recent subterranean entrance exposed.

============================================================ SESSION TRANSCRIPT
Recap on this. You sense the psychic assault coming as it filled your minds with negative emotions. The Crodlued run in terror and confusion. You feel rage, Pip, you feel the void, Pip, Venus. Can it move through the glove? We'll get to the saving throws and whatnot. We can't save against you. As this psionic entity wakes up, all of those nodes, all the other trees, You get to glow with a purple-ish psychic energy that trails up into the sky and forms like a Stranger Things mind player as they connect. And then they almost beam down. At first you think it's like a bolt of psychic attack at you, but it lands near you, forming a metaphysical construct. Vaguely humanoid, made of fungus with many horns. Because monsters have to grow. Even though it doesn't have a mouth and cannot scream. It doesn't have to scream, but it feels maybe like a pip appropriately in purse. Sorry. A saving throw of wisdom. You became the Void as a way to silence the psychic noise. A sword in the blank. And you end the effect. I'm gonna live fix that button while we play and possibly destroy the film. You may act no. I'm gonna try to Rapport Spore first. I don't think Rapport Spore has a role, but you can always just roll Charisma. What, what, what? You're basically trying diplomacy. Oh, okay. Did I hear that right? Yes. Rapport Spore. Okay. Although I did put the tree icon behind you to represent where the tree is. It's noteworthy that the tree has been transformed to a living tree and is actually no longer part of the network. But of course this thing is also made of spores. Yeah, exactly. No, this is a different spore process than the other one. Technically there are still spores in the vicinity. She didn't delete anything that wasn't in the tree. She did spawn some growth, but underneath that all there's still spores. So there it is. Well, I did okay on my prison check, but... I thought that chat fix was in. Oh, maybe it doesn't take any of the initiative tracker. That sucks. Uh, you communicate that we mean no harm, and it's like, I don't understand. You harmed me. Your network must be malfunctioning. I don't know what falsehood is. You fail to convince the hostile creature. Got any of Swippies? Yeah, I should do Barstool. Oh, is this the wrong Pip? I'm just gonna use yours. It's probably better. It probably has the same checks. Yeah. So you could open real Pip. I should be able to use real Pip, because I have access to it. I don't see... I only see my Pip. There's so many powers on here. I'm gonna rename her to fake Pip. Pip. Pip owned by you, that's what's going on for you. What? Doesn't exist? Huh? There is only one Pip in my list, and it's yours. She's also level one. So, I don't know who Well, I have your pip on my thing, so... Oh, did I do transfer ownership? Okay. Yeah, that's what you did. Can you share that pip with me? Because apparently transfer ownership doesn't eat the shit, so that's why I can't see it anymore. Okay. How do I do that? Yeah. You are next, by the way, if you want to jump in while she's doing that. Okay. So the tree, there's nothing going on with the tree itself. Nah, the tree's fine. Okay. It's just the tree. Now it says it can't, I can't really... That's not a very good report. I know, hold on. I'm trying to... Let me know when you're truly... I'm gonna take a... I am truly black. Sorry. I can't get this thing out of initiative because its name is too long. Claims ranged attack blames at the store. I'm just gonna go to the next turn because I can't undo. Yeah, I think you deleted, so it's deleted now, the character sheet, but the token isn't. I... I don't know why I'm gonna do it. So when you look at your character list, we use the main menu characters. Yeah? Why are you looking at Logan? Why are you out here? Do you need a drink? Go pee pee, get a drink of water, go back to bed. When it- when it- when it fails like that, just... we both look at that. We're gonna go to... I'm gonna go to... I'm gonna go to... Drink it. Fuck you! Don't fucking change my shit out there. I know what I typed. I hate it when it does that. Custom, no validation. That's wrong. She's just a 8. Classless. Okay, there's the power. All the powers are... I don't know what the fuck's happening with this character. You should probably just start over with the new Pip. But this one has powers, so I guess don't delete it. She's a vestige of the old Pip. Did you not? So did you use a macro that I just can't see because I scrolled as our... No. I didn't. I was... I think there is no... There is no... Did I become a breath? No, I was doing my... Oh, yeah, we don't have one for that. Uh, okay. Yeah, we can wing it. Roll Charisma. And... I'll roll some damage here. Hmm. that is supposed to take the episode of the book. 19, what's his AC? That stupid body name. Uh, really? Where's all this fucking property? It's fine. Okay. Let me just go with this guy and start. Create monster. Gemini. Oh, too big. It'll be faster to regenerate it again. Okay, that's way too. I didn't know that until I did. No, it was me. No wonder she has an Akshay-send as much. Save my bacon. This should be one of our videos. But alright, let me show- oh shit, all of the fucking macros are going- oh, wait, I just regenerated from scratch. Alright, create monster and edit. Booyah! Now, cyanide fungus. Upload from my device. No, it's a Google. No, it's a little from your app. Okay. Now he has stats and an AC and everything. Yeah! Of course, I can't see it in the glass. Look it up in the... It's 17. Anyway, you're getting with fire, because I don't think armor is an issue here. Okay, 23 fired. Wait, no, I'm not going to use the alarm mode, because that'll crash. Everything, you're not using such damage. Approved. Yay! The bar updated and everything. Vizzy! I have got to get one of those spells where a Shadow Dagger flanks... for me. How do you get advantage without... Does it actually light a fire? It's pretty moist. It starts to, like, some bits of it burn, but like its core doesn't really catch... unless it does, does your attack explicitly do ongoing fire damage? That's what's more wondering if it was susceptible to that. Before you transformed it, a lot of that fungus was dry enough to burn. But this thing is metaphysical, so it's allowed to be moist. Someone promised me that you'll flank next turn. Alright, I'm gonna stab. I'm gonna stab. Nope, I'm gonna stab. There we go. Booyah. 17 hits. 19 damage approved. Done. Turn over. Woohoo! Tree is a tree. But the monster doesn't have an initial. So I guess that was the tree, the monster's turn. Okay, fine. Do you want to Psych-Poss you guys? I think so. Click tokens to select targets and Psych-Poss. You, you, you, and you. And this. Oh, six. Why can't I take a target? There he goes. Booyah. So, everybody roll an int save. I'm just so much faster with all these UX improvements. Holy shit. So if you get a 23, you pass her. Is it save or half? Yeah, it's half. So this... Hi, Logie. Sure. What's wrong? Snowman? Snowman? Snowman? Snowman? Wow. Big movie. What's wrong? I'm tired. I should be in bed. I should sleep. Oh, wow. What's wrong? See, I can't sleep. Poorly. I can't sleep. I know, it's frustrating. My experience is frustrating when I can't sleep too. Really shouldn't be playing with tablet. It's just all that fun and bullshit. Special chat. Damage... Okay. Uh, Clove, did you know an inch? An inch-hit? No, I didn't call an inch-hit. This does just psychic damage. Oh, I guess you just passed. I will say the gloves worked. The rage is still there. We still have some rage, but... I am dazed. Nah, you just take damage. It's just a blast of raw psychic assault. Nia is going to do what she wishes she'd have done before that happened. And... Her light wings don't have a map. Let me look that up. Wings of Freedom. She spawns X-Wings. Okay. Grace. Okay. Fuck, I don't actually know what her ethos is. Being out during the day. That one's easy. Trying to accomplish things that will get her reunited with her brother. Yes. I suppose. That's almost everything, but I'll give her two Grace for this. She runs two. That's four. She can do four wings. Perfect. Each one you get a wing. You get a wing. You get a wing. As an immediate action, you can expend a wing. to block 50% of anyone attacked. She is now flying. Is there a condition for that? They're not alphabetical. There's one called Fying. She's Fying. Fying. Fying. It's like flying but with a speech impediment. I was like, I literally know what my last name as a verb is. Why am I enjoying the- Oh shit. Fuck. Alright, that's a problem. Pip. Back to Pip. Back to Pip. Pip is gonna, I guess I'm gonna be using this screen, so. But I'm not gonna use waterbending. So what was your take on, like, this four-burst situation? Yeah, what do you want to do? You want to use it as a, yeah. You can probably harm spore creatures pretty easily and maybe even try to dominate them. Although, that might not work in this case. This is kind of like a minion of... That'll hurt. That is very effective against spore-based creatures. I might use that instead because I know it's gonna work. Is it metaphysical construct an outsider? Is it metaphysical construct an outsider? Is it metaphysical construct an outsider? So I can't use target mode. I'm figuring it out. An astral construct a parasite is not an outsider. Thanks, Gemini. G-M-N-I. Is it giving you a guess? Yeah. So I have... But I can't actually take it. Select attorney. I can't select attorney. I think this is... Yeah, the, um... The mini-initiative cracker is blocked. It's in the wrong place and it was blocking your guns. I just found it. I can't remove it right hand. The Minion Session Tracker just really underestimates how much space it has for future turns. Also, that map can't even speed in the Minion Session. This one just like disconnected. Okay. But you rolled, you hit a 19, I guess, you could cut that, okay. Desiccate didn't roll damage for some reason. You definitely pass, it gets a save, that bug isn't fixed yet. 11, well I'll write that. It's gonna go ahead and be 2d12 plus 12 times 2. I don't think it... No yeah, it didn't. So... Let me put that on my... I need a quicker... Chat blog should be... Okay. I love how the AI tries to annotate. This is a following request from our players. Shut up. You don't know that! Okay, did it do the damage? Looks like you did the damage. Yeah. I don't think I did the damage to it. Yeah. Unless it did. Oh yeah, the prompt went away. Okay. Damage type desiccation. Yep, there's the prompt. Leave the chat log auto-scroll soon. That was way too hard. Ew. Here, I'm gonna find him. Uh, does it actually have, like, arms as such? Yes. Okay. So it does, semi-human way. Yeah, it has two legs, two arms, and not really a head, but different fungus, above the shoulders. Okay. Uh, I can't get around him in a single move, though. Oh fuck, I should have had Nia do it, she could fly. Yeah, she might be better positioned. You don't have to actually be on an opposite side to flank. If you're just threatening, that's all. Oh, so I can be anywhere and be... Okay, okay. Alright, well, then I will go... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... That's flanking? Uh, if your reach is over, one is fair. Otherwise you'd have to be ready. Sorry, I guess I just didn't want to go through his Yeah. But the area is all... If you... Oh wait, you had to move at least 10 feet. Wait, what do you keep? Hmm, does he have a reach? It locks the... Ooh, it locks the movement. He is huge, so he has to... Oh, it shouldn't lock it, it shouldn't just report that you moved that many squares. Here, I'll move it. Thank you. It would not let me select anything. That was weird. Let me also save... Oh, it might have been covered by that invisible... Yeah. ...sheel. A bug that still isn't fixed. Oh, okay. God. It's still working. Wait, what is it here? Oh no, no, no, no, stop, stop, stop, what are you doing? That is not the bug... Oh no. What are you trying to... That is not what I wanted you to do, Clawde. I have to stop this live update thing, it's only gonna make things worse. Yeah. Before resuming... Plot resonates with the old Jeeves vibes. No, it claims it did fix that though. Let me see. I don't know. It really didn't. So... It's lame. I'll just shut it out. Okay. So you... I moved. Didn't you do some acrobatics last time? I did. You tried that? Yes. I think that was a different day. It was a different encounter if that's what it is. So do you need to roll a dex? You get like a plus 10 to it. Oh, that's right. I mean, I think so. I think she's able to... Oh, that kind of acrobatics check she's able to be. 31? Yeah. Okay, you don't provoke. Aging slash? Yeah, I'm actually going to do a kind of an aging touch, trying to reorder the tissue so that the... You were created three seconds ago, I'm going to rewind you to four seconds. Well, I really want to reorder it, So I'm going to reorder it so that the dry is towards the middle. I want him to be able to come up in flames next time I'm able to do flame attacks. So I'm going to reorder its... I think that's reasonable. You're just moving some stuff around. Roll... Claws... and a Charisma check because I don't think the strength should necessarily set the DC. Come on, come on. The red line will not go at the creature. Um, try the lower left corner of the picture. That's an old bug that I thought was spaced. Where the hit zone is the medium version. Uh, no, it says click a token and it won't move. Is it behind that bottom hit space? Oh, maybe it's because of my spacing? Am I spacing? No, I can do it. So if you, here, if you look at the TV, if you were trying right now, this wouldn't work because This line here, you have to imagine this is always open and it's blocking clicks. Even when it's not open. So scroll so that he's not covered by that zone or he's really quick. I don't know, Sam. But a block fixes it. Calls attack. And I wish I could see his AC uncovered. That's why I brought my mouse to the center. Ooh, that hits. Damage 14. So 14 claw damage. And now I can shift my view. That's why I had to become a Mac user and then it was too late because I couldn't right click. How do I shift the map? Can I shift the map myself? W-A-S-D? Or click drag? That's what I was trying to click drag. But if this click started in the forbidden zone, then it wouldn't work. W-A-S-D should always work. No, that should not be a problem. Yes. Then he wrote my charisma. I didn't. I just did the damage application. So, okay, I'll use that as a DC for reading. Oh yeah, I just said allow agent to select token... You might click this AG forward until you drop out, but... I suppose that could also work. I need to check... You're aging this constitution. You know, for a gigantic bruiser, you have a pretty lousy constitution set. So you can do frail, clumsy, or weak. Strength Dexacon, bad. I can actually tell you how those work. So which one is it? Is there anything for me to know its damage stat to guide that? It uses strength for its big attacks, but it also... what does it mean? Strength... oh, it only has macros. But yeah, it uses charisma for its cyan. Okay, well, take out strength then for its physical steps, since Vis and I are in physical proximity. There is a Feeble... Not there. It has Restraint, Braille, Wrecked, Weekend. Weekend program. It's the Weekend. All right, Vizzy. I can't do my things, I understand. I have enough tumble for the both of us. Does it have any active spells? Not really. I don't think he can get temp HP from transfusion, so we'll just stay. He does have an occult, so he can sneak attack transfusions. So... Oh no! No! His boot is stuck in the moon and the thing gets out of reach, he's like... And a natural whoop. Whumped. Whumped. Impersonate. Bad guy. So much for that promise. I wasted your effort. I mean, you got a pretty good hit there. So you can do a slam. Yeah, just slam. He doesn't know that you weakened him. So... Sionic slam you. You're the only actual scary target. So, because he is weakened, uh, disadvantage to strength rolls and 50% penalty to strength damage. So, he has disadvantage to this attack. Did he fumble or...? No, but he only got a 15. I don't think that hits you, so damage denied. As he like, limply- And because he's weak, it's a slow acceleration and you see it coming immediately. You still have the dregs of that plus 10 to dex, so you just neo it. You can probably do a neo dodge and balance yourself with your wings and tail. Can you hide your wings? They come out magically. Hi, Wesley. I was at one point envisioning them with feathery angel wings. But that's just their youthful horn. What are you doing, Wesley? Isn't it bedside? You can say goodnight to Cleave, and go to bed. But to Cleave you have to get it. We can get a water. Nia, you guys have taken a little damage, but nothing a short rescue here so far. So it's time to show the other side. It's time to set up the sun. Well, above the cloud, by the parts, by the sun ray beams down, Okay, she has a plus one? That's not right. She didn't roll a one, so that's good. 24. It's not particularly vulnerable to Radiant damage, but it's pretty cool. Heal? No. When it's like damage, you don't want to crash it. And it has an ongoing burning... that I will forget when it's turned out. But it should be more effective because I reordered the cells of the creature. It's not really fire, but real fire, yes. Okay. Maybe that'll be set. Can you just make it drier? Yeah, I'm gonna do it like a desiccate. Current token bar. Wesley? What did Mommy say? Did you listen to Mommy? What did Mommy tell you? Go get a drink of water, go back to bed. Oh, okay. I'm gonna stay. Eight. Eight or six. I'd rather not eat in this room. I get that. Good night, Wesley. I fixed the bug in my open machine. Oh, my little boy. Oh, it still didn't. Okay. I guess it's harder than I thought. Uh, who's turning it? You desiccated some more. I mean, it's working pretty well. I think between the two of you, you're making this thing awfully dry. It's a flower. Uh, so, we'll just roll that out again. 2, 3, 4, plus 5. It always rolls this one. It looks fun. It's suspicious. Something's eating my WSD. Okay. 5 plus 12 is not 23. No, it only shows one of the details. That's a good catch. Interesting. When you roam the X-Men back... Oh, can you use anything in the jungle gym? Crazy time. Crazy time. It is crazy time. I mean, we're having crazy time. Look at all the music. Exactly. Well, you're a dragon, and it's all from fire. I'm not using Flammy Brass. That's kind of restrained at this point. I mean, you feel the rage, but then again, Viz is standing behind us. So let's just light it up. Light it up! If the claw attack hits, I think we know what's gonna happen. You'll probably do upwards of 50 fire damage. And... Well, you have advantage. It's supposed to give you the option to click that roll and re-roll it with advantage, but it's using the wrong chatbot. That's better. Can't re-roll... Okay. So, yes, that is better. But technically not better enough. You still have the touch spell on your claws, though. So I still deliver the fire even if I don't? Uh, you can deliver it with your next attack, without having to gas it again. Not that it costs... Uh, maybe Vizzy gets... This is the Vizzy Redemption arc. They're all killing me. Or they forgot you existed. It's really dry! It's super dry! Really, really dry, Vis. You made the armor harder! That's fine. Did he roll? Nowhere near a print. But that's okay. Because that's still 44, or 42 damage. We're gonna need to get some Blagaston or something, cause you should be able to create sparks and play stuff on time. Uh, he could probably learn something. He's got witch magic. He could do Burning Blood. We're here to shoot out an extreme. The astral construct's psionic power is overwhelmed and it dissipates. The psionic entity only had so much. What the fuck just happened? You woke something up. What did I wake up? This is all fungus. That means it's just dormant. A little bit of water, a little bit of time. I didn't see any living matter. You reversed time on it. It undid petrification. I guess you did a little bit of brain damage. Cut out a little bit of its brain. I'm not sure how much. You can see these things to the limit of your distance, although visibility is probably only a mile or so. Well, that's actually the atmospheric haze is in the stratosphere. It's not everywhere. So unless it's cloudy, which I did say, visibility is a few miles. And you can see, like, as far as you can see, there's more of these trees. Plus you can tell that the trees are just the surface part. It descends deep. There's an interesting ecosystem in this mud where Because of the mud's consistency in its depths, there's still moisture. Even though it hasn't rained in quite a while, it's holding onto it. There's living fungi down there, which probably explains why it was able to rain too so quickly. Well, this is still kind of a miracle. Just feeling the bark. I have never seen a tree like this. The mechalots are turning off the road and headed in the near direction. That's a stupid difference. Yep, probably. Let's see if you're lucky, one or more of them eventually stop running. Probably like a call. You're pretty lucky. They all took like a couple rounds of run, and then when the thing died they kind of stopped and they're all just looking around for food. He runs over to one and uses it to run over and bring another one to you, and then you can both go after the third and fourth one. While that's happening, the big wagon pulls up and then crawls to a stop. Dakhan peeks out. Well, isn't that a sight? Yes. A mercs and will are the limit. Extinct means many centuries. Detailed in a few. Wow, I'll study it. It flowers. I suppose you actually see that like part of it is flowering, part of it looks really green, part of it's like starting to turn, and part of it has dropped its leaves. And it got stuck in the waves of time. It's like where you were, You were pushing time out so there was a tidal effect. I don't think that's the idea. I wonder how many times he's searching for. He says, no inkful but no material sorcery. The priestess Sook says, take me a look. He looks less awestruck. Like his eyes went wide when he looked out. He's looking at a big pile of gold. She's looking at something unnatural and disconcerting. An interesting sight. I'm going to see Sons. as a cost. Yes, yes, easily done, but life competes with life on his heirs. Perhaps one of these could be transplanted into a garden, sitting, making a good, a peach, an extraordinary experience. Alas, uprooting one of these is going to take quite a bit more tools and labour than At this time, I would suggest we could save it for a future venture. This was a moment of practice. It is 11, and... at 11am. And I don't remember what the weather was, but I feel like it's kind of, it's a little dank. It's gloomy, so it's a little on the chilly side. It's in like the 70s. So like, chilly, no sun, great visibility, and we'll keep trusting. Let me check on that. He's laying down to scratch his butt. But he's laying down to scratch his butt. Yeah, you could definitely use... I mean, you don't have a... I think right where that road ends and turns into a trail, there's probably something. At least a campsite, if not a few. So, but it's still a good hike. The mud has... Well, that's what you're gonna say. It probably hasn't slowed you down much. The Mechalads have plenty of excess strength. And the Crodlu's don't care, they're really one of those. But that's still a good distance, and you had some shitty weather earlier. Before we left that other one, I was actually gonna see if she... Can we take a sprit from it, like a growth transplant? They're a fruit with seeds. They're healthy fruit. There's also early sprouted fruit if that'll last longer in the distance. Although I think you can temper stasis a small object. Yes, I'll do that. The menu would probably eat that too. That's true. They're just chowing down in all the undergrowth that sprouted up. Willow tree seeds. Tiny, fuzzy, and produced by female. They look so weird. Oh, interesting. Definitely in the same genus as Pinecone. You can see my people might have some aliens. Looks kind of dank. Maybe you can smoke it. Smoke fungus. Oh, you can smoke this. Don't smoke fungus! Oh, it's not fungus. This is a natural. Oh, okay. In 2000 years, it'll be fungus. Smoking the fungus would be interesting too. Kane... The fungus was already down. I didn't wake up the fungus. I pissed off the fungus because I cut off a part of its body. I thought it was because you brought the tree back. It was a mega fungus too. It was a fungus underneath the surface. It got cut off, essentially part of its body got cut off. If you were to cross-section this whole area, There's bedrock, and then there's a layer of damp, very moist mud with a lot of fungus in it. And then there's a mid part where it gets less and less moist. And then there's a dry upper third where the fungus has these thin neural-like tracers. And then every so often, about every 300 feet, there's a petrified tree. And those tracers connect to all those surface buds. that are just basically organs of the tree tree. Okay. And except in this particular case that tree has been replaced with a living tree which had a- it's actually probably less the buds and more the fact that the tree's root system regroup. And as I described this thing, this thing's 80 feet tall, it's got a big root system. So it's just got a lot of the fun of this. As well as like 80 feet tall and like 200 feet wide. So the root system is similar. So that root level fungus down there just painfully moved, not deleted, but just displaced. See, I thought what was addressing us was the tree that she- It's the fungal- And that was like an ancient petrified fungal forest. Basically, like, imagine if a mummy- had life forms clinging to it. Yeah. And then the mummy rapidly turned back into a human and like because it pushed out it just placed... No, I see what you're saying now, but that's not what my interpretation was in the beginning. And so this tree is healthy and will last as long as this very dry climate allows it to. Although like I said, its roots reach all the way to the bedrock and there is ample moisture coming. But it's gonna be different. It's gonna have to adapt. Based on the luck roll, you have the following. You have as many mercies full of seeds and fruit as you want. The fruit is tasty and nutritious, and probably you're not allergic to it, because no one has had this fruit in many centuries. It's probably valuable, although I doubt you can temporal stasis hundreds of small objects. I could write some in my haversat. And regrowing it is probably the priority. Regrowing is the priority. I want to start a little mini- You may or may not reach a market where you can sell these before they start to go bad, but you can all eat them, and they're juicy. This is a fucking mangrove-style tree. I'll tell you about stasis at least one or two of them. I essentially want to be able to start two trees to potentially gather the seeds. They taste like tangy peaches. but with the consistency of a pear. They have a hard pear-like exterior but not so hard if you can't just bite myself. Nice. And it's a huge fruit. There's a whole lot of fruit. Wood, as much wood as you want with living. Yeah, I'm not gonna take the wood, we're taking the fruit. I mean, the wood's probably too, but yeah. Well, she's not sure the level, the duration this will take for. The seeds, in their mature form, they bud, and those buds, when properly removed from the stems and dried, can be burned, and the smoke has a delightful quality. So, making sense. So, you... It sounds like you guys are multiple minds on the wood. I mean, I don't... I don't know if I want to start with anybody. Yeah, that's what my thought is too. It's not very well adapted. It's a little tricky since no one brought like a gigantic tree saw that takes the whole team like a day to get through. We don't have the time. Yeah, you have to have the whole tree down. And because of its shape, because of its willow-like shape, its branches, I mean, they do start to separate like, you know, 10 or 20 feet. down, but they're very close to vertical and they only really start to diverge really hard. And then they become these wide lateral branches. So it's hard to get. Not impossible. I don't know if... Let me check the adventuring kit because... Common equipment. No. starting. An axe. You all have an axe. It's like a hand axe. So if you're willing to climb or fly up there, both of you have a slowdown. You could hack off some branches. Yeah, we'll get some branches. I mean, wood is so valuable that it's worth it. And we are not gonna kill the tree or anything. I can give it a good pruning. You would know where to prune to keep it a healthy tree and not take away too much. It could use a little help adapting to the drier climate. I mean, key foliage rather than too much foliage. Right. See, if anybody's gonna prune it, it should be a druid. Gemini will be the... Do you still have- no, no, you never have. I don't know. I don't think they have a market expert. Dakhan, I mean, you can always fall back on him, he knows things. A mature, medium-sized oak tree could weigh anywhere from four to ten thousand pounds. Probably 0.5 ceramic pieces per pound. So, yeah, if it were an O3, you're sitting on 280 years worth of wages for... Um... And the C... Scarcity... I understand. Because she just kind of reveled in the tree for a while. She couldn't cut it because for her this was just like a revelry moment of just like a Venus in an artifact long gone that she used to know. I think the desire to nod to miss the campsite tonight and also to not kill the tree. Both synergize with not taking too much. So let's say 200 to 300 pounds. I think it's actually worth more than a compost. They got 250 pounds. Which is like, I don't know. It's like when you go to the lumber yard and they have like the unit to the holder that has, you know, dozens of two by fours. If you picked up, you know, that's probably set like 20 to 30 two by fours. It's a good amount of wood. It's not two by fours, of course. It's, but it is, those branches are fairly straight, like I said. So you can get some, find one of the smaller straight ones and just held it at the root and then spent some time taking the edges off and You have like an assembly line. Some of you are going through the leaves to get the bud and the fruit. Some of you are just ripping off the thin ones and once you have lengths that are short enough to get on the wagon, you just toss them in there. This is becoming Quentin Caravan. Alright, time's up. We need to make our campsite. Okay, fine. See, this has been such a teachable moment for Vael. This is an actual useful use of Marta Pip, while you're up there in the trees and packing, there's of course some bugs that were aforementioned. You also see a hummingbird. Hummingbirds are extinct in the wild and everywhere else. This is It can probably survive in your garden. Some of these bugs are also extinct. Less of them, because they're bugs. And climbing toward you from further down the branch, you see this purple-ringed, high-white lemur-looking monkey? That big owl eyes with these funny purple rings. I respond back, monkeys. Food? Are you food? No, I'm not food, but I'm food. Don't poison him to death. In fact, he loves whatever you give him. I was just gonna give him some of the fruit from the truth. Wow, he really loves that. He's like, we'll share. We'll share some of you. Where'd you go? I grow a tail. and grow a monkey tail just like, oh, must have missed it. So do you have a means of like transporting animals? I mean, if they're your friends. I mean, yeah. Can I stasis the animals for a herd? They're alive, so that's a little harder. And you have to sustain stasis. So like one object, easy Many animals are. You can build an item to do it, like some sort of jewelcrafting temporal prison. Yes, let me try that. Oh, that's a good use for the jewelbugs. That's true. I don't think I gave you a value for those, so... I'll say... It should be in the summary. I think you set it out loud. It's like a ninth value. Three shiny julebug carapaces from the first game. Yeah. But non-specific for- well yeah you didn't see them in the silt lines. No. I asked for exactly the name. There's no specific value on those but I'm gonna say I have values for gems. So... Two... No, that's a ring. Okay. So... I will let you make, with those three, uh, didn't, crafted three temporal stasis containers for a tiny creature. So, they're like the size of a bread box. Yeah, you can fit a hummingbird easily. You can probably fit a swarm of bugs. And you could definitely fit a mature fruit with a seed on the side. Beautiful. Use the jewel of bugs. I have a time box. Devil might still face this time box. With both jeweled parapaces on the top, too. This has been pretty lucky. It's nice to have a lucky. Especially after such a tough adventure. So, although I did say he before you had a chance to get to know it. It is actually a female, Maki, who was recently inseminated. Awesome. Aww. So lucky. We've had so much luck with nature today. Flamingbird, Sixth Stink. It's gonna like unleash a plague around the planet. Purple rain. Sixth Stink, it's like people who drink glacial water out of the glacier. Up and dive things we don't have a name for. Oh, life finds a way. Life finds a way. The, uh, the Elven bodyguard is just watching the movies. You're the weirdest adventure ever. Well, that's why we're so successful. We just have very, I don't know, resourceful interests. She's very skeptical about this and she's reevaluating your threat level. She's gonna offer some of the ripened fruit to the priestess. Her ripened fruit. Ah, fuck, I'll try some. The bodyguard. Dakhan's doing it. If you poisoned him, then her job has already failed. No thank you. I'm gonna help you get more of this shit. You get, uh... Let's see. How much fruit can... Nine people medicate? 700 pounds! You get 700 pounds of fruit. Oh, that's valid. And the bud? I don't know how to call you that, but we know that's a cash crop. Are you going to throw that? when we get back in her nice little secret garden. That's why it's a fine farming experience. That's why I kind of figured you had a secret garden. I do. It's not a secret garden. It's like a whole... She has a little part of the garden that has been introducing void things, strange new plants. So we were on 4... I don't remember. This was 3.30 when you started yesterday. Not yesterday in the game, but, you know, last second. So this is... Okay, I spent a day down to about 4. 4-2, 4-3. So this is 4-3. We're still 4-3. But now it's 1 p. Heavy hate. The temperature picks up. The visibility drops as just the haze- sometimes the air gets flying and the haze just calms down. There's probably a different form of predator that lurks in this. Like whatever giant cat things are. Yeah, too weird. The uh... Perhaps I spoke too soon. You guys are like, I can go try it on, let's get everything. And he- Dakhan looks uncertain as you realize you've been kind of tunnel visioned working on this tree and you've been inside, you didn't see the sky at all. This thing's huge. And so you barely notice that outside the tree, the weather has taken a turn for the, well, at least the extremely low visibility. And like she said, there are things that hunt, maybe things that have scent or primer scent and they know that you can't see them coming. birds, some sort of aerial attack. Yeah. They're like... Stalkers are gonna be more likely in this fog though. The Demon's Hand guys are helping themselves to some creed and wood of their own, but it doesn't impinge on any of yours. I might actually recommend we wait this out here. This is a pretty potential-alienable location. Lots of forest friends to help out. We need to dig. It's probably easy. Although we could probably be able to yell at sunlight. There's not much sunlight getting turned out. Very well, very well. It clears up tomorrow at one in the morning. So we have to look again, basically. We lost two days. Day two for sex. This is day two of my active cycle. I'm fucking going insane. Yeah, normally you'd be like, day one is like, you feel like you just took some meth. Like, I'm gonna do so many projects and then you don't eat and you just work for work. And day two you feel like a normal human. And day three you're like, You're like, okay, you're just angry all day. I know, so we're gonna be really pushing for the table. And then we finally eat Dave Warriors. Yeah, when we push through, I'm gonna be in frickin' wanna rest. Yeah. Eat mode. You're like, alright, this is cool. Except that's normally you would feel normal. Yeah. But you're still got that rage. I do. You're a stupid rage. But this means you can harvest much more. That's true. And I'm gonna explore pushing the rage into permanency on this event. Can I explore that? Or you can turn something into permanency? Well, I mean, it's not an active effect. It's instantaneous. Like, from this point on, it will age normally. So it is now to protect it from the ravages of time, Well that's doable, but that's central stasis. And then everything would just freeze. Which would actually like, it wouldn't freeze any of the animals, but suddenly they'd be unable to eat the fruit. I do want to equalize the time since you said I kind of did it in a wave and it was unequal in the trees growth process, so I kind of want to even that out or maximize its potential for... You can touch it up a bit. It's like Photoshop. It's like, okay, you did the big filter, now you're going to zoom in. and do a little bit of detail work. You're basically using the cantrip like minor age and get the winter stuff to sprout into spring again by the ton. So the mega tree probably has a 50 to 80 thousand fruit. That is about 20 tons of fruit on the high. This is too much for your own. Can we dry it? I can desiccate it. It is 114, well yeah, that's true. I can desiccate it and get the water out of it and add some dry fruit. Let's say 500 pounds of dry willow pears. I'm going to say, because you already got 700 pounds in two hours, you can put in a few, so really at this point you're looking at the limitations of the following. So The heavy wagon might hold 2,000 pounds. You'd need 20 wagons to move this up. So, we'll just up this to 2,000 pounds of fruit. Yeah, because it's all ecosystem here. So, with 2,000 pounds, you've still only taken a small fraction of the fruit. And I'll up your wood yield to 1,000 pounds. And you've stacked that megalod's real high. The megalod... See it's funny because they say the wagon... let's see... D&D wagon... wait... I don't know if I'd buy that if you tell us. 5,000 thousand total cards. It's getting crazy time. It's interesting, doesn't it? Yeah. See, I guess he must have a really fucking big wagon because... A standard D&E wagon, fully loaded with 5,000 pounds of gear, can easily be carried by two mules. Two mechalots is like having two fucking elephants. Yeah. I'm imagining, like, you know, like, fucking Aladdin with his, you know? Basically, like, it's almost like a Santa sleigh. Like, the sedan part is about half of it, and then he just has tons and tons of, like, goods that he wants to do this, you know, trade stuff with. The Vizier's Wagon is really mostly just for the provisions for the journey itself. And so he'll let you stack that thing high. You can get a few thousand pounds there. They'll give you one ton of each. And you have a... Once again, you have a perfectly good excuse for a campfire, well away from the bark. We can have some songs. Samira ends up opening up pretty well. Orson, when he's not trying to intimidate you, is a decent conversationalist. He's eating like you will be tomorrow because he's lost like a hundred pounds. No, I make sure to get him well fed because I do appreciate his help. I'm showing so much more kindness than I normally would to this Demon's Hand guy who helped us in that last one. He has some sort of magic spell where he's actively turning the food into fat faster than the human body can do that. He goes up from like one... Stuffing his face so if we can get another sandstorm he can... He was like 125 after that spell. Now he's probably like at 150 just pounding fruit. He's kind of starting to get sick of the fruit, but... You gotta do what you gotta do. It's magic. You of course get a chance to talk to so many bugs and birds. There are other lemurs in this ecosystem. There's probably thousands of things the size of a rodent or hummingbird, millions of tiny bugs, and dozens of large creatures like the lemur. This is a miniature ecosystem. And it's a wonderful slice of history that you can only preserve a little bit of. I do a lot of sketching and catching of books. If you guys come back here in like a month, I probably mostly still better be. If you want to come back and try to preserve more of your family. So, you have a nice long, lazy sleep. There's another one. Everyone sleeps between like 9 and 12 hours. You can tell the haze is starting to clear so it starts hacking up the tent and stuff. And by 10am, you're off. I guess the fungus can get angry enough again. Yeah. It was lashing out in pain, but as pain does, it subsided and it's like, eh, I don't care. It's like, oh no, I lost my first tail. So you SHOULD be able to get to the campsite in a day, unless you have really terrible weather. You have Dust Devils, and you have... is this... no, that's not good. The shit I need. The combat was fast. Yeah, pretty good conditions for traveling. Mudflats? I don't have a mudflats. Let's do Sandy Waste again. When did I roll a 4? Nah. Maybe. That's not interesting. He's such a little chirpy chirpy. Interesting. What's the durability? Normal? Yeah, I don't think they would come out, so that's not a valid rule. So you go for a couple hours, it's only 91 degrees, 12 p.m. The dust devil yields too? Nah, we did that on the next day. Darn, Darn, usual protocol, just wait it out. Hunker down, build a tent. Excellent visibility. Oh, it regenerated. Yeah. Okay, well at 3pm... Well, not that clear. It's still crimson sun. Just normal. Until conditions change. Okay. So you lose some time as you're hunkered down, but then it clears and it's hot. There's a breeze, which helps a little. It's very dry. You're kind of getting to... you're still detecting the mudflats, but this looks like an even drier part of the mudflats, and there's some silt that blows over the mud. But it continues like this. You're able to make It's 111, you just drink a lot of water at the time. You see in the distance as the sun is going down at 8pm, there is something. There's no lights. You're going to have to just follow the road, which you can clearly see leads to it. It's another one of those stone outposts. Oh, I think I want to think about one of the novelists. No, just a pre-arranged campsite. Did we get to the fort yet? It's not a fort. It's just a campsite. But something interesting happens as you get closer and closer over the next hour. The sky is dark. It's twilight. It's not completely dark yet. And You see lights appearing at the edge of- you have excellent visibility, so you saw them coming miles away as they started to light up porches or oil lamps. They are opposite you on the road, headed your way, probably trying to make that same sight. And you can tell they're in a bit of a hurry because it's getting dark. and is etiquette say the first one there gets it or something? It depends how big it is. It looks like a pretty big... it's actually bigger than the one you camped at before. It's kind of like the fort if they didn't actually put a keek in the fort, just the outer walls and some shelter. So... As you get close, you can see that it is a large assortment of fellows, lots of wagons, lots of big animals pulling those wagons. You can tell it becomes difficult as it gets dark, but Vis is pointing against the darkness. and at least 20. 20 wadders. Guessing 60 to 80 people. It looks like a train caravan. As Nua joins you shortly, and he also has a vision. 87. They're mostly Crodlinds. and K'n'gain. They're not foolish enough to use a metal order. I mean, if you can control them, they're great. It's slow. So, not effective for great damage. It depends on if you're calling more targets. Yeah. Nua and Viz ride out of scouts and you see they have a few riders who move forward. You hear some shouts of greeting as you both basically get to the campsite about the second time. And it's a big campsite! Their huge paravan can talk a bit of a huge... Does the H5 made her feel a little competitive for this spot? Like, I don't think they got to get the first... You got to get the first... Anyway, Crodlu. They rode out. They... they... they're like a hundred feet out when... It's like a good scat... pushing her Crodlu second of the... Also, I'm gonna eat my mouth. You, uh, Vis and Nia will come back. They look mollified. It's not our character, but it is coming this way from colony. Plenty to sell. They number 87 in all between caravan drivers and Skates. It's a healthy size. This is how smart caravineers travel. Large numbers. And they, as they pile into this, you know, village-sized, enclosed area, they start building tents. They line up, well-practiced, they like line up, they kind of build a, like an impromptu, like, festival. Like, they do the outer edge. of three of the walls and then they set up- some of them are actually setting up like stalls in case- It's like if gypsies were Indian tribes. This is a list of all- Jesus, my Christ. What's happening? No? Okay. This is a list of all the caravans. Oh. And what they have for sale and what they might be interested. Because, I mean, they wouldn't be Caravaneers if they weren't interested in trade. Does anyone want wood or fruit? Yes, a lot of them want fruit. Uh... None of you guys want wood, huh? They didn't anticipate anyone having wood. Songbird has rare feathers. You could do... You've got... We have bows. You've got extremely rare feathers. Extinct feathers. As rare as it gets. Uh... Let's see, the bud, let's see, who, Medicines, Herbs? Yeah, Raven, the paranoid human. Ooh! Who's really just fuckin' strung out. Yeah. He would know some of that rare bud. And I am for sure gonna start trying to make this fruit into a alchemy. Ooh. Somebody has... yeah, so there's Mara. She's probably got some fermenting and distillation equipment. What's the most desperate part of Russia? Where they invented vodka. This is a desperate world. They've figured out distillation. Also, they're kind of Arabian, so that makes sense. So, like, you could make ciders. And you could make spirits. You should talk to Tula the Halfling for some spices and salt like that. She knows how to make some good spirits. You want some more Crodlu? Very expensive. I was thinking about medicine and herbs. Oh wait, I spoke to you soon. There are meccolets. But they're baby meccolets. They're in a harness like a pack of sled dogs. They have to keep them more further apart in each row than sled dogs because they'll try to eat each other. So they're this huge wooden harness. He can't exist to the cat. Of course they have slaves for sale. Oh no. I don't want to search this in Gemini, so I'm gonna use the TBA. Ooh, like songbirds? Yeah, songbirds with my brothers. Did I put the TBAs? Yes, I did. Ducks, Campanhas. They'd also be like, interested in them just not to sign them. Exactly. Well, and then like, what if we show them the hummingbird? Well, I don't want to sell these animals to them. I expressed a lot. The word slay me in tears a lot of times. I won't think you're going down now. But I mean, she might be appreciative. I don't necessarily know completely what this thing eats. We can learn, you can talk to it. I will talk to it. I want to learn about these creatures. and take them into the garden and... Price to buy a slave so I can free them. Don't think ill of me, Gemini. Let's see, how many slaves... You could transport them by wagon, but that seems like a waste. They've got perfectly good legs. And they can pull it. She's very much against. This is going to be a fight against herself, because I think she really wants to... So the slave trader... Rage against the slave trade? Vis is not a fan of the slave trade. Ten slaves in all will say... Two... Yeah. I need this. Can I drag that over there? Open... Okay. Well, let's take notes somewhere else then. Go here. So, fancy. Two... So, he's interested in your money. In fact, I mean, well, he's had other stuff to sell, but he don't want his tanks. So he can't turn around and go home. But he'll be glad to be rid of them. So... It is no wonder you're getting into us. We could probably make a trade. I don't have any Iron Bronze Army. Wait, we do! We have Copper Ora! Yeah. And Garak's the honest human who sells iron, too. I'd be interested in knowing where he's got it. I'm making a new... Open... RPG wiki? That's not how this works. Plus I'm looking for the DM. Where is the... So, ABS and 2. Okay, I have my notes back. Um, copper. How much copper? You know, 2,000 pounds of raw copper, Mark? That's... I know exactly what I was looking for, but... I'm actually selling copper. Uh, if you talked to Dyrrha, he might let you use, uh... I thought he'd probably make a smelting furnace with all this clay and stuff around him. But he has some equipment. If you slip him something he likes, tools or mining supplies or nothing, he might let you smelt some of that ore. Well, he could have a percentage of it if he smelts it for us. That's a good one. Copper... The Yield will be... Well, let me see if it's a grade. I didn't grade. It's average grade. So you can have two pounds of it. So it's 12 pounds. One. Roll the charisma. Got to crush and grind it. Mix the powder, chemicals. They probably use a slightly different process on this planet. Did it roll? I don't know. I see your Christmas check. 19. What did you offer? Um, 2 pounds. Okay. 12. It was pretty cute. Oh, great. I'm going to write a 2 pounds of pure pots of water bearing to the smelt. 10 pounds. 10 pounds of copper is worth some money. Copper is substantially more valuable than the surrounding. I'll do ratio of copper. Tell me what the ratio is. Okay, fine. 13.000 pounds of copper is worth an ounce of silver. That's actually not that. The Thrive Seeds. They're like the insect ones. Yes. And this one wants toys and candy and is selling resins and glass. The resins are interesting. They come from a bar all the time. So the shekel is... Oh, I have a ceramic. The shekel is 1.25 Troy Houses of Silver. It's a little disappointing that all that work with the copper and you end up with a brick of copper that weighs 10 pounds and with copper being copper, 1 pound, 1.25 ounces, it's actually triumphant, but it says 1.25 ounces, well I'll give you the more favorable. 12.8. So The trade value... I know, I can tell. Trade value is average 12.8 USD. But since someone here is in demand for copper... So either he will buy it from you for $18,000 He'll round it up to 20 silver pieces. Or he could forge it into bronze and you could give it to the guy, but I mean, Six won't have to be able to. We'll say, yeah, he can, he can, the tin, he'll spot you. I'll just take it out of the yield. So... The slave trader's name is... Paul. So... You get 15 silver pieces worth of bronze to him. Now, how much does he want for all his rubsy-lubly slaves? Roll a charisma check with this aggressive, sterling mole. I believe! Come on, I know there was a save! He's hallucinating. Viz will help you out. Even though you're enraged and he's holding back. She failed because of her rage. That's when I say that natural one. She just got it because she's fucking pissed and she hates slavery. He detects that you dislike him and you look down on his profession and he is going to offer you worse prices as a result. I'm gonna go to the high end of the price range. So the laborers want 100. There's two skilled craftsmen. They are each worth 300. There's a child. He's about 10 years old. He's only worth 30. But there's a prized gladiator. He's a fellow mole. And he himself is worth 1,000 copper pieces for a grand total of 1,230 copper, which, or ceramic. The ceramic is one to ten, right? Okay, so you've got 15. So you have 150 copper worth of cylinder pieces from the copper you want. Nice Not even close. Yeah. You have 13 SP on your person. That'll get you a little further. Yeah, I'm gonna sell that fruit to the fruit owner first. He's a helpful, helpful health giant, so why would you just do that first? We have a lot of fruit to sell. So, no one wants wood, so... I don't know if I want to sell all of my shit for the slave religious cream. Well, maybe we can get it done with our shit. We need to have five thousand, five hundred pounds of fruit. One to two ceramic pieces per pound. I might need this fruit to feed with my monkeys. You probably don't need 2,000. Okay, Vix is very charming to the fruit vendor. He's a sleepy half-diet. He really just wants to sleep, so he's at a disadvantage. Because it's like, I mean, it's only like 9pm, but he's ready to conquer down. He still does okay. He's very charismatic. So, he's gonna get a good price for this fruit. So, He can sell his personal share of the fruit. So Vis trades his 500 pounds of fruit to Ram for 1000 CP. With his personal, with the bronze you guys crafted, and his personal share, his wallet. Crossey is taking all of the Bruns, but we can spare her. She seeds it for the... Viz saves Bruns and... Because for her it's a volume thing, so he can absorb whatever her share was on. Viz... I'll just steal from something. Maybe not for these guys, not over here. Yeah, he does his 11 SP and 5 copper. And honestly, the expensive one, I kinda just wanna free him on my own, cause he wants to probably scouge, and I really just wanna, like, I wanna steal him. I just wanna free him. You're talking about fucking me not giving you this harness. That's going to be all right. Whispering, it's a- there's only one key, so you guys do it together. as he's working on the locks. Actually, here, have the key. But as he's unmatching the... yeah, he's never going to give you the harness. It's made of wood with iron shackles. Worth more than the slaves. Both of you... well, you can do what you want, but as he's getting them out, he's whispering to them. Pretty nice. Here it is. Most of them seem pretty relieved. The boy is crying. The gladiators... Ten years. Thanks! Oh, that's not an 80, that's a 30. He is not traveling with any family. He's all alone. So he's extra distraught. Here, little one. It's okay. Is there a- you said you wanted some medicine- Or some fruit as you can use. He has- let's see. Yeah, he's down on his life. He's not that down on his life. He has tasted fruit at some point in his life, but he is a slave, so this is an absolute luxury. As a- Vis can see that there's, you know, four rations for feeding the slaves and he's looking at it. No, you don't get none of that. It's fine. We've got water. With your water reclamation, you could probably have pulled, just in the process of drying out the lumber for transport. Yeah, and then also drying out the fruit. Yeah. That's true. 2,000 pounds and 500 pounds. Okay. It might be like a koala where if it doesn't eat, it only can eat the fruit of this one tree and if it doesn't, then it's gonna die. So... Okay, you convinced me to not sell my share yet. He's able to fund it with his share so he can keep at least 1,000 pounds of this fruit. I drive probably a ton of it. I'm not a child. I was like, did you really dry 2,000 houses? Alright, there's probably a good amount of water right in the wood. Yeah, definitely. It's probably like somewhere around 50% for wood and like 70 or 80% for fruit. And it probably has the faint taste of the fruit too, so high quality water. You've performed a miracle in the eyes of any athasian. Tell me to keep my children. You're looking at a massive quantity of cereal. I was like, oh, but you said you never take anything. You liberate, yep, I was dead on, 50%. Green wood, so you liberate 1,000 pounds of water from the wood. And you're surprised to find how that, uh, okay, yeah, the initial fresh weight of the fruit was 2,500 pounds. And you started with a much larger amount of fresh fruit. So that gives you 240 gallons of water. So the fruit liberates even more than the fruit. So you have 330 gallons for 2,750 pounds of water. Which... I think... I mean, that's a lot. You're only in, what, day six? You... Okay. The affair is fair. Dakhan has an empty wine cast. Or two. some empty water casks from feeding the mechalots, and some food crates that could perhaps serve. Especially, well, no, you wouldn't be able to get any trade goods at the time. Yeah, this represents luck. And you weren't lucky enough to think, let's dry out this lumber later at camp, since you were at camp for like an entire day. So, Had you waited, you could have dried it out here. So I think because of this, you only get part of that yield. I'm gonna say, uh, D&D, Carrance, and Barrow, Sizes. Two butts. 100 pound water containers. and two casks 12 gallons each pure water because of course it's a picture of irrigation. Now is anyone buying water? I mean everyone wants water. Yeah there was someone buying water. Yes. The Frycreen is very interested in it. The Half-Dry it. Yeah, let's go to the Sleeky, the Sleeky, the Sleeky, the Sleeky. What are you, travelers? It's weird when Thrycreen talk because they can't speak anything that you could understand. They do have a clicking. Okay, with this water? It speaks with scionics. Given how valuable water is, I'm going to start a bidding war between Thrycreen and the Sleeky. Nice. and a giant who also wants water. In the deep desert, water is worth its weight in gold. Maybe not literally, a thousand tons of gold would be quite... This is where I can use my charisma to affect some. Is the Karaman good on water? I mean, they're smart. Yeah, but they set on some Okay, that's a bad fucking luck roll. They had a hard time, they had a lot of yellow sun coming here, the whole caravan is critically low. They were on strict rationing and they were just hoping to make it to the fort before animals started dropping. So I'm going to say, everyone is interested in water, and those two are double interested in water. Because they had other uses for it besides the obvious. You can start a bidding war with fucking everyone. Two months water! Two months fresh water! Still cool. Completely pure. Tastes like fruit. Prove it. Grab the pitcher. Mmm. Delicious. This is going to help your diplomacy. He does an excellent job. Maybe you'll help him, but you do have a higher charisma. This is manipulation, so yeah, it's mostly charisma. Alright, so it's 15 plus my charisma. Where's his character sheet? So that's plus 8. And he's got... He does have proficiency to charisma, so yeah, he got a 21 and you got a 23, so he helps you roll an advance. Well, okay. They would normally pay a pretty penny deed without the bidding board. Since everyone wants you're like, we don't want anyone going to agree, you know, but they're all out bidding each other. So you basically go through this auction process to settle on a fair rate that everyone can pay because all of them, what did I say, there's 20, 20, 20, so yeah. and each one would get 200 gallons. If you keep the CAS for yourself, you'll need that. Then each one will get 10 gallons of water, which is still very precious. And so I'm going to say the market value is 100 times higher than it would be in Tyr. Very low, which means Each 20 gallon? Oh wait, no. Ceramic pieces worth by 10 bucks? Yeah. So you're selling each of them 100 gallons for a thousand dollars. So for this labor he doesn't get it. Fair enough. But you'll keep that one too. So that means you trade I agree. 20 gallons. 10 gallons to each trader except Cobra at 1 SP each. Nice and easy. One silver piece. You just bring your 10 gallon container, we'll fill you up. You can verify. 10 gallons will get you 5 to 10 days in this debt, and you only need one or two to get to the fort. and you retain ten gallons for yourself. Cor walks up with his silver piece and Viz... Cor is a surly sort and he attacks. dressed with a meaty fuckin' right hook. And... fits up. We were kinda looking for those, this is a deprivation state, so... With the one that has aggressive agglomeration. An aggressive mull. Sorry. If it wasn't aggressive, the race would have been working against this. This is why I need a chatbot, because I need it to generate 20 caravaniers and their guards and possible servants and their wagons and their- that's a hell of a- We've redefined the forest crawl. So I'm just going to say, they're out there, but you're in the big central area that's this impromptu marketplace, and none of them are all that interested. I mean, you guys just saved their bacon, they might intercede. But you're probably gonna kick this guy. Because he was the last one. And she's gonna make sure that they don't think that they need to. She's gonna give them non-robocues. They look like they need to step up. Like, no, no, I got this. It's like, don't think you need to jump in. There's two women here. Baby don't need no help. He is surprised by the top. I wish you would decide if you wanted to be on me or not. The jumping off and jumping off. Great. That's a status symbol. The other guy's about seven foot tall. Looks like he's close to 400 pounds of beef. Viz. Well, the slaver gets to go first since it was a surprise. But no, Viz can't be surprised. So as that nat 20 right-up comes out, he's like, actually, I'm going to go first. But I see it, so I'm just going to kind of roll with it, and he's going to do an atrobatics check to Dakhan, it was a nat 20. He still takes half damage. Did we move to a new map? Uh, yes. Let me pull you here. So... fetch. That didn't roll damage. I'm gonna roll for him. It was just his right hook, so it merely does 39 damage. Why are you having trouble jumping? You have a claw? He takes half that... Very convincingly takes a fall since he did just get... you know, on his ass. That was a mistake. Finch, what do you say to that? Uh... Sorry, yeah, um... You're shocked at this sudden violence. Yes. I might sit this round out for a second. Yeah, it's a surprise round. And he reaches onto his back. Oh, no, no. You were me, kid. And pulls out a nice big iron sword. And he rolls. 19? He's not quite that high, but he can dodge. Come on, bud, you can get a 19 on a VIX check, no problem. 24. He can get, like, crab watts out of it. It was a down thrust. You hear the people say, whoa, whoa, hey, come on, they brought us a war. Yeah? They spit in my face. You see me getting my fucking chain wet? and he didn't land the attack so he doesn't get to cleat. Oh darn, he doesn't get to cleat to me so I can retaliate again. That would've loved to block his fists and punch him. I know that looks really bad but I'm not gonna... No a day. No a day. And you'll conclude. Yeah. I'm gonna say I'm just gonna reroll initiative so I can get this initiative right and also describe it. Okay. Viz, he sees what's coming down. He keeps up to his feet. The obsidian dagger's already there. Just back at us, man. You don't want to say that. Inheriting all that fine... What do you got? Trained kinks? Fuck yes. Fucking... We're good. We've got food all the way to Calumet. The kinks love me. Yeah, this guy's traveling alone. Like, he has no next of kin here. But this is delayed. What? You're too shippin' shit. No. That was distracting you so she could get a position. The bodyguard jumps, climbing up like a monkey, just takes a fucking sneak attack right at his throat. I'm gonna have to just roll the naked dex. She does 3, 2, 3, plus 8, twice. That's all you've got, little girl! You haven't even begun to feel it. Now, Vis goes, sneak attack! I didn't have time for a death attack, so will a critical sneak attack do? Because that's 90 damage, bitch! Fucking critical snake attack. I'm waiting to do that. Nope. On further consideration... I mean, you can get all of our stuff back too, right? We sold in... A phase injustice. Remember, I'm very... I like my treasure. This is a fucking thief. Like... So on a crit, half a crit bonus damage repeats on an end. And damage repeats his internal damage. Subject gains resistance to healing. Now listen, I could save your life. He's like, from the obsidian dagger, it's such a clean wound. It's just a gusher. It's a venus wound, so it's not spraying, but he needs medical attention. Speaking of you, it's your turn. As you can see from the initiative you are in, it's probably in the wrong place. Yeah, I'm not seeing any updated. I saw the initial one, and then I didn't see the updated one after the change. Yeah, it should be... Let's see. Is this guy on the map? This one wasn't connected, so I guess I didn't get forced. I can't force myself to the map. I guess that's a little... I appreciate the praise. I like those. Oh, I need to do a hard refresh, huh? That's not what I would expect. Okay, there's the pair. So, yeah, it doesn't always spawn. Kitty butts. Do you do anything this turn? Yes, I do. She's gonna go to his other side. You just casually saunter over. What you do looks so disgusting. Have fun with this. Make me a corpse. Make me a corpse. That I can train into the body. That would be fun. He'll be a useful servant. He's still got all his muscles and bones, this guy has less blood. So she ages down. Yeah, just turn him into a skeleton and she can animate the skeleton. I'd rather have a strong zombie to help do these things, but that's what I got Wiz around for. Well, if he's frail, I don't think it lasts forever. It's not permanent aging, not at rank 2. It's the... Premature aging... You can make a tournament at a certain level, but I recommend it not, because if she's going to turn him into an undead slave... Are you stating that intention? Yes! Revolt was. That was in character. If you weaken him temporarily, it'll stop as soon as he dies. But it'll be useful while he's big and has a greatsword that can cleave all of you for like 50 damage. That's kind of why she's grabbing the arm that he was doing that with. I also think that doesn't that sort of sword have a minimum strength? Not exactly, but he will have disadvantage. Not anymore. I think you're like- I think that's an old- Armor does, but he's not wearing armor. He will get disadvantage with it and 50% damage. So I'm gonna weaken him by the way I get the fungus creature. Your strength is... Oops. You may do Claw, Brazen, I can? It depends. Claw does damage, it has a minus one to hit relative to touch. Touching is slightly easier but does no extra damage. Claw damage is nice though. Plus it, you are in rage. Eat one of those kanks of his? Fuck yeah, that was tasty. You had kank the other day. No one wanted us be anywhere near you. Only slaves eat tank meat. There we go. Slaves! They got some cancer claws. The obsidian daggers of the roads were leaving these clean... I know, that's where I really believe it is. ...clean, like, surgical incisions. Your claws do the opposite. You grab them like a fucking pinching. You didn't claw them, you grabbed them and ripped them. Screams! But I don't see your rub. Right, it's just... Oh, weird. Weird. It's hard. Are you so... Are we out of sync? Are we out of... We're gonna re-roll. Cause that...my other one got out of sync, too. Yeah, now I see it. Weird. 21 hits. He doesn't worry about armor, like I said. 17 damage. I see it right there. 17 damage approved. Why did his hit points go up so much, though? So he should actually be at... D-57. Oh, what's wrong with my character? It's just the chat line. Pip! Um, is he dead yet? No, you can make him die. Um... Maybe you need a little help making him die. Well, I'm gonna infect him with the Cordyceps first. But that was weakening. That was with the premature aging. Did I need to infect him? Oh, he has a save, but I'll, uh... Yeah, we'll get there when we get there. Roll Charisma to set the DC. This is the one weakness of my 1d20 system. Like, how could Strength possibly be setting the DC? It doesn't make any sense. Your Charisma is a different number than your Strength. Maybe that's the cost of getting both at the same time. I will say, if you spore him damage-wise, you can get the Cordyceps seed in there. So that hits and we'll do some damage. There he goes. DC 26 on the Freeman Journey. 32 damage. Okay, 26. Remember that because I won't. He's a bully, so he thinks you're weak So he starts with you. Of course he needs. That's what I wanted. I'm gonna action switch to the one. This is definitely my one smart. Actually, before you attack Mr. Mosley, I'm gonna need some saving throws. You're gonna pick a con save against that crit, or you're taking half the damage again. Con save? No, you're kidding. 22. Notice how I set against that brick? TC-29, bud! You can take 45 damage! No, wait! I don't want to attack! I got this big green green! It's gonna be something! Lookin' up the door! Maybe it shouldn't have been a slaver! He's on the ground now! Bleeding out of it. Now you shall be my slave in me! Save me! Oh, don't worry! I feel it right here! I feel weird! What are the, um... I guess that seems like... It's like pixie dust from my wings, you know, the scores. This is what they end up looking like. This is a bad case. He's more vital and fresh. But yeah, he just starts spawning these fungal growths. And as they get into his brain, the fungus actually heals his wounds as it's taking over his body. And he stands up and looks to you and just bows his head. He's stupid and clumsy, but he's as strong as he was at night. He has none of his intellect that he used to have. Use of that. This is the perfect target for him. Just a big, strong asshole. The assembled caravaneers sorta... They all kinda back away a little bit, but... They did murder one of their own. But he started it. Well, I can't make any more deals. I was gonna go buy some gems. Well, hold on. Minus five for murder. Plus two for he started it. Plus twenty for water. Plus another two for saving everyone's ass with the water. Some of them are a little stanky. I think plus one for the fact that he was one of the strongest individual caravaners. He was a 14th level fighter and they were all scared of him and you made short work of him. Don't worry, it's adventure business. And he flashes the completely unrelated quest flacquard. Some of them are like, fuck that guy. He goes over to negotiate. The elf actually joins the bodyguard and they're having some trouble with the negotiations so she goes up and gets daddy and daddy comes up. I leave you people in five minutes. Eh, he had it coming. Madeline, ladies, cream, are you familiar with the oracles of the cooperation of your particular charter? You are the Silver Star charter, yes? I would. I signed your charter, so I'm very familiar. No next of kin? We see your Ritz goes over their documentation. I'm gonna get some baby... Alright. Let's wait. Baby Merla! Quite clear. Property... ...a dead caravaneer with new next of kin becomes the property of the caravan. And is it what you want? They look at the Kanks, they're like, I don't know if anyone else wants Kanks. I'll take all of the animals. If they don't want them. That I might trade some money for. If they wanted to sell them. He negotiates you not getting in any sort of problem. As they decide what to do with it, they have... The problem is collective ownership is kind of a pain in the ass. Although they could use the food, although very few of them will eat kank. The Krog will use them. That's good, because they need something to pull their wagons. So they negotiate. And with Dakhan as part of the negotiation, yes, he says, look, you guys, you only need something, right? You don't want to have to... There's not an even number of kanks and my guy saved your bacon. So... They... They'll make a deal. They'll take a share of the cakes. He sees... to get the remainder of the Kanks and the whole rig he was using to pull his wagon with his supplies. Now it was designed for humans to pull and you still have those humans right here, but it could probably be modified. And also, I was actually curious about the residents of the creator and seeing if there's anything like preserved dating or anything resonating sort of The market value of these kinks you just narrated is... ...tunes? This is a tough work, it is not a much of a kink. One of the most reliable and efficient investments an adventure can make. A food producing kink is a self-walking ration pack and water barrel. Because not only is milk nutritious, it's also hydrating. 120 copper for a kank. In my head they're like giant aphids. They're by the way. Yeah. Aphids. So you get 29 kanks. You get 29 kanks. I got a whole herd of kanks? They basically, um, they have one who is a, um, basically they give it some like royal jelly. and it's not enough to make it transform, but all the other ones follow that one around, so you only need to lead the one cake. So they're not even like... I just communicate with that one. You want food? I'm food giver now. I'm your friend forever. Can you tell the others to follow me? Actually, you have some of that royal jelly and you're like... describing some kank features. Yeah, they'll follow you if you go to the Royal Daily. It's just instinct. These guys produce milk. Let's see. Yeah, raw kank nectar sells for 10k for a pound. They produce one melon-sized globule every other day, between one and two pounds. So you can get passive income. One Nectar Glavio contains a moisture to count as one gallon of water. There's a blacking that exists. They can for it in four of the black-and-gulavios. But he also brought a bunch of food to people. Yeah. And how many mechaloths? Uh, no mechaloths. He had slaves and trained kinks. He says he has mechaloths. No, that's Bram the Hacker. He has untrained kinks, and you gotta keep them away from the other kinks. They're done a mess. Although he will- no wait, he sells them, never mind. You guys want some more kanks? We've got loads of kanks. I'll take a mechalot. My own, because these aren't mine, these are... A mechalot could definitely pull that card for ya. About 4,000 gold. How many ceramic pieces? Hapsling. I did mention they were young. Hapsling mechalots are only 50 cupboards. I'll take. How many does he have? Abundance. They take a long time to train and rear. They're pretty useless right now. Yeah, that's fine. Let's say he has some younger ones that are... Some yearlings. Yeah, 400 copper. They're not anywhere near as big as Dakhan's, but they're big enough that you could attach them to that rig. You probably need at least four of them. Okay. I'll take four. 1,600 copper. I have that copper piece that might just... Yeah, you have your thousand copper... sorry, god damn... CP worth of fruit. So... Pip, Spend... I'm gonna keep the fruit if I can, but I... You're gonna wet with the fruit? Well, I might need it for all the animals. Yeah, I was... that's what I thought you were keeping it for. Yeah, I am. We'll do some accounting true-up later. You guys have the money somewhere. We just sold all that water too. Yeah, you sold the water. 10 gallons at 1 SP each. That's his money back. That's true. So that's 19 SP. 19 SP is... It's nice, but 1,600 is a lot of money. That would be 160 solid pieces. Yeah, Mekkolons are in. But now they're your Mekkolons. You said you wanted something. Yeah, I just resins and gems. Hmm. Does somebody have gems? Yeah, somebody does. Oh, the Shtaric thing has glass. It probably has some things that qualify. The Shifty Elf has gems, which is like a great person to deal with for gems. And of course it's an elf. I sell gems, but I don't have any jewelry. Just draw the gems. I really want some settings for these gems. Jewelry is worth more than gems. Out my fucking eyes and gems. You got any fucking silver or gold? No, little silver. One silver piece is probably enough silver to make that piece of jewelry. So she's a jewel crafter, so I can do something with those gems. I feel like he's specifically interested in silver hand jewelry. So he will give you double the value of silver. You can take that 19 SP, send it to Shifty Liska, and that becomes 38 SP. Gems are half-price from Liska, so just name an amount of dual-crafting mats, which are already half market value. So if you spend 250 CP, you'll get effectively 1000 CP worth of dual-crafting. Your share of the 38 SP is 9.5. So that could be a 19 SP worth of jewelcrafting mats. You didn't sell... You didn't sell my fruit. Let's see. Vis traded the bronze. Yeah, he's traded all the bronze. And he traded his fruit. You can get a thousand CP for all of your fruit. That's way more than 9.5 SPE. So that could make you 2000 CP worth of JC mats, which is 4000 in crafting potential. So like for instance, four gold, you could craft a ring of four shielding, two rings of four shielding. You could craft like a Bold Garnet and a Death Peridot. Like that Death Peridot you have is worth two points. So that twice for your fruit. For all of, oh wow. Okay. Are we having to talk about wood yet? I can definitely multiply the value of this then in jewel crafting basically. Plus you were interested, I think the brewer is also extra interested in fruit. They actually had multiple fruit vendors. Exactly. She was gonna go, she was, she was, that's why she was purposefully waiting on some of the marketing and stuff, so then she developed relationships with the water, and then she's gonna be like, now I can go back and do sales. Sleepy Half-Giant is... The Helpful Half-Giant is... The Helpful Half-Giant is happy to take this burden of fruit out of your hands. Although I guess you have a shit-peamed wagon, not a carry-out of stuff in. So you'll bump that up to 1500 CP worth of... well CP unless you wanted a... Crodlu... or road... I'll take that. You cannot afford a single war Crodlu, not by a long shot. I'll take that. This guy's swimming in Suriname because he's happy to pay this premium price. So... This is the fresh fruit. Obviously I'm not trading the seeds and other things I'm using for property. Just a bunch. Imagine walking into one of those like shiny gem stores and in Capitola or something. And you spend... Oh. Yes. So... She said I got like... $300,000 on gemstones. To a guy who prices gemstones low. $300,000. So I got an amazing price. Yes. There. How many assorted gemstones? Is there a less chance that there's one that's more valuable than he'd praise it at? If they're top tier investment stones, you get one to three very very expensive ones. High quality retail gems that you might want to make good jewelry out of. 50 to 100. Wholesale parcels, commercial quality, thousands. So I'm just in for- you're probably looking for like jewelcrafting tier. So we'll say there's 5200 jewelry-quality stones of many colors and shapes. And you obsess. You keep this guy up online. You're wired. You haven't even had your meal yet. I know. You're like, no, no, this one down here. No, I'm sleepy too. And still shifting. I'm really trying to rip you off here. But he's having such a hard time. My charisma is too good for him. There's some rare ones in there. You have an eye you picked up. I will add rarity bonus. Most of the merchants don't want to keep trading until 3 in the morning. Right. So they mostly go to sleep. Well, really, the resin one was really just I needed to peruse to see if there was anything that had a creature. and Amber. Yeah, there's definitely, uh, he, I mean, there's definitely Amber too, and, uh, you can turn some of that, uh, well, I guess you don't have any toys or candy. Fruit-type fruit is kind of candy. Yeah. Yeah, she'll buy your dried fruit at a premium. You have 500 pounds of dried fruit. I'm keeping half of it. I'll say it's worth about five times as much as fresh fruit. Okay, definitely want to keep a lot of that because it's really good. But what do you have? 500? Okay, so you have 125 pounds. So if you split it all up, if you sold your personal stake, with 625 times what can I give you for the 1,000? Okay, you can sell 3. That one, it's hard to see. Well, it doesn't take the opportunity when it comes to the nursing. You can get 1250 CP for all of your personal tracks. Okay. This is also not super motivated for cleaning right now. Yes, sir. You can tank me. You don't care. Who is the trades? Click. T'Lik is curious and you are strange. She wants to talk to you. Yeah, I want to talk to her too. And we go to visit her. You guys just kind of stay up and talk to this interesting, very well-traveled striker. Like, so, this, this whole deal, this circle, this is all any human knows. There are a few places where they've explored the outfield. It's like an asteroid hit. Yeah. And very few people actually go far out of the tablelands, which is over here. For her to describe the places she had been, I can't zoom it out far enough. Zoom it out that again and then again. This she considers a region of the world. An interesting place she comes to trade with sad humans who are very industrious. And she thinks it's funny that the humans think that it's like this everywhere. There are, she describes landscapes that you've never seen, that you don't remember stories of in the Kingdom of the Pyrene. These topper colored canyons with crusts of gemstone that just sort of pop out of the rock. And there's these big like Anglosaurus looking dinosaurs. They have gemstones in their scales and they eat the raw gemstones and incorporate them. There's a race of dark therapist, dry cream, that don't relate very well to her kind. And they live underground in these vast caverns filled with bioluminescent fungi where there's lots and lots of moisture. And they awaken all of the bugs. All the bugs in their kingdom are all intelligent. They rule over this kingdom of insects. They want to go there. You're so fucking- It is accessible nearby to Tyr in the mountains. It's hard to get to, but there's an edge of that kingdom. Mental note. I'm talking bulletin. Great Plains of Salt, where the mountains gave up on the earth and started floating into the sky. And on the underside of those mountains, strange people built cities with Thriacreen cage. And yes, indeed, there are oceans far away, terribly salty and acidic. Hardly anything lives in there but the jellies. But things do live in there. The Thriacreen empire and her description is about... yeah about 12 times the size of this area. That's what that one does. And it's not just rooting, it's a supling. It makes my new shirt wet. Yeah, it's a lot of slobber. So you got 1250 Oh no, 2500. What am I doing? She's... Yeah, I gotta double that because they have extra... Both of your yields will be doubled. 2500 of resin, including some amber case specimens. That's kind of her interest too. You know, resin is... there's many, many types of resin that are all incredibly useful and because they mostly come from plants. And all of her collection is from outside this region. But her personal interest in it is she likes finding little tiny flies and bugs and stuff in the amber. But yeah, you gave her lots of candy. And you find out why she's interested in dried fruit. This probably loves it. Like, oh, sugar, beer, sugar, I'm a bug. And, uh... I don't want to go too far to the south of here because I don't personally use it myself because I just remember the way but I can't describe it. Yeah, you're actually communicating psionically. Yeah. They can't make human sounds. Although they understand you guys. And it's funny because people often think the dragon can understand them. And they just say all sorts of shit right in front of them. It depends. You have any toys. I love that monkey. What the hell is that? I have never seen a monkey like that. That's kind of a joke. No, that's my monkey. It is pregnant! I'm planning to spend at least a season in the table of hands before returning to the road. You want to meet up with the Guildhall in Tyr? You're the Phoenix Guild, yes? Yes. If you have more husbands like this, I'd love to continue trading with you. Oh, and you want to see the bugs we found? Oh my god, let me show you these. She collects things like this that are rare, precious gems because they're encased in animals. Living bugs. I opened my gem box of bugs. The stasis. The tree. Yeah, stasis. How is this process? Kind of magic. I'm, yeah, I'm a condimenter. And there was, um... So we got all the fruit. I was practicing. in the desert on one of the- Involuntary clicking noises. ...loss lines of trace and it reverted back to when it was growing. She clicks at the bugs. And I essentially reset in Little Minute Ecosystem. What an a-sh-store. Yeah, that's enough. Where is this? They might decide to cut it down. Don't cut it down, we'll come after you. Yes. Well, I don't know if I can tell my 19 friends, but none of us are interested in woods, so maybe not. Grack is gonna want some fruit, though. There's an abundant amount of fruit. There's a dump truck of fruit still there. Yeah, what did we say? It's 200,000 pounds. That's like 19 big trucks full of fruit. The giants can eat their freaking heart out and eat all these animals. They can't eat them. Not a day. Yeah, it's actually a great campsite. If you're willing to trade these insects to me, then I shall give you something as invaluable. It is difficult to put a value on such rarities. Exactly. But as you are, well, not human, but She'll give you lots of glass now. I want to mess. I want all of her information. She's going to spend the rest of the witching hour at her glazier studio. You see why she's so good at making glass? Because it's psionic. She's got this workstation and she just pours this pure sand. She just botches. And then she agitates it until it glows bright. And then she starts mixing it up. And she makes a stained glass without an iron frame. She manipulates the fluids and produces a disc. It's big. It needs to be. Yeah. Makes it out of resin, I hope. They said glass. That's a lot better. So it is a silver plate with a layer of resin to bind the glass to it. But the surface is smooth. It's one pane of glass. And it's got that, you know when they do the resin thing to make the driftwood table and it has the ruby and the water? Yeah, yeah. This has depth like that. Except it is actually- I mean she could use resin. She could protect the glass with a layer of resin on top of it. So the glass is itself three-dimensional. A 3D glass mat. The size- Big of an area. An extra large piece of it. Mounted to silver, protected by resin. and the structure being scientifically fluid crafted to describe an inherent radius roughly 1,000. So, with about 75% accuracy. The value of this item is subjective. Yeah, it's priceless. If you wanted to put a price to it, you would hold a bazaar and you would only invite sorcerer kings. It is certainly measured in many, many gold pieces. You're not sure you want Dakhan to have a look at this. No. You might just kill all of you and take it. I hate it. This is your void. If a Sorcerer King had his choice between you and this, he'd probably choose this. Going deep, deep, deep in the void. I mean, you've got to work on a Bag of Holding at some point. Yeah, well, I have one. It was one of my- There are spells. There's a spell that's basically Bag of Holding. which, while expensive, would give you the Janet power. Just producing things from your void. It's a quick hide in her void. It's in Jeremy Barry. You guys are tired as fuck. And eventually you eat, and by the way, she loves candy. Fucking, I don't understand why the people, this is great, she eats it fucking raw. It's so good. And you can eat it raw, but why do that many people? And you're like, it's food, it's all interesting. It tastes interesting. Like raw oyster tastes very interesting. I make milk shakes with the fruit. But she does preserve the buds, she doesn't give them all, she gives them all buds and butterflies and caterpillars so she has the life cycle of the butterfly. I mean, there's a good number of specimens. You're not denying her any species. Individuals of a species. You had a... however many tiny bugs can fit in a bread box. A lot of bugs. Hundreds of bugs. We can sort them out. Exactly. Like trading cards. Like clothing candy. That's acceptable. I think she can find somebody and trade something to get a nice big, like, velvety case. You know, let's use leather, you gotta protect it. It's like a big pizza box. A delivery pizza case. With a pizza case. So you can hide its nature. Good thing you just got a wagon. It probably weighs a few hundred pounds. Would you like these bugs to be unstacist? Oh, I assume you had to turn off the stasis just to get him out of there and show them off, but you can put it back in. I think she would prefer... She does have to sleep eventually, so... She would prefer if she got to keep the temporal stasis case so she can keep them on case until she has a more permanent solution for them. And that thing can be turned on. So... It wasn't that- you just got a lot of JC minutes. Exactly, I will have another one to replace that before I've finished with the knife. Artifact. I'm keeping the hummingbirds. Oh yeah, the hummingbirds are not going anywhere. Yeah, that one takes a time. Well, they're birds. Maybe you need two birds. Yeah, we do need at least two birds. That would be sad. They would be very sad. We need to be able to at least prepare everything. Yeah. because I did say a tiny case and hummingbirds are like diminutive. Yeah. So you can fit a couple in there. Yeah. And I take it back. You don't have food cakes. You have nectar producing cakes. Yeah. It would be a shame to eat a nectar producing cake. Yeah. But she also loves fucking nectar. And it's delicious. Yeah, make nectar. It's like, it's like It's honey, but it's basically like if you made honey water and just mixed in a lot of honey with water to the point where it started to get a little viscous. Except it also has like this surface tension. So you have to make sure you have it in a container when you eat it because when you pop it, it smooches. But that outer part is kind of a sticky candy-like substance. It has a little slightly butterscotch in it. That's weird. And I thought that could probably be the fermentation stuff from our fruits when it turned out. So I'm not gonna use resources on distillery stuff. And if you don't take these globules that they produce at the right time, they will eventually just pop and just leave away. Yeah. So you have to harvest your tanks. So that was day seven. It was a good day. It was a good day. That was a very good day. And you have a useless dragon. Wait, day seven was day two. You merely enjoyed the nectar today. Tomorrow you're gonna need a real meal. Yeah. That's for the time. We're moving into the early morning hours for the time we have the nectar, and I'm like, oh, I'm starting to get hungry. What does the morning bring? Uh, that's right, thank you. You might want to just camp out. Okay, it doesn't take very long. This shelter protects you from the sandstorm. Heavy haze? Dangerous to travel. The caravan is... Yeah... The things that hunt in this can make it stragglers pretty easily. Yeah, everyone just decides to stay in the shelter. Even though water is scarce, Just so fucking hilarious. What's she doing in there? Oh my goodness. You have a caravan of cats following you in there. I know. I got some resin insects. Maybe you're- Clear skies. I'm gonna say that is truly clear skies. So 8pm the following day, the haze evaporates and the stars come out. And everyone decides after losing so much time that they need water, they gotta hightail it. at least towards that tree of yours, if not toward the fort. You guys have places to be too. Are you? Part amiably. That gave you time to rig up your new meccalots to this wagon and carry all your shit. Dakhan asks you politely if you want to transfer all your crap from his wagon to your new wagon. And you've had plenty of time to rest so you can basically pull in all-nighter and It's an interesting way to travel. It's not often done, but sometimes. And if it's truly clear skies, true? Oh yeah, there's stars. Oh, this is one of our favorite kinds of things. Yeah. You are so down for this. The Crodlu is just kind of mindlessly following the herd, so you can just kind of wander. The stars twinkle in the thin haze. The one of the moons is not up tonight because it only comes up every two nights. But the inner moon is bright and green as always, casting a strange green glow to the land. The road isn't as finished here, but it's still It's well-worn. You can find your way, especially with a ranger. The visibility is so clear, no predator would dare mess with your large caravan. And you basically get to have your pick of campsites. You can walk as long as you want. Unless, of course, the haze doesn't come back and then you might want to make camp again. She essentially walks until they stop her because she just... After eight hours. Also because she's going to start moving to Resma pretty soon. Yeah. You would like to eat and sleep for a day. At 4am... find something. And you, you, your eyes locked onto it a mile away and you're like, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Is that what I think it is? That's what I think it is. There's some unease from your spellbound as you approach the obsidian obelisk It's a tract and hat. Its top hat has come to rest nearby. There's some shards of obsidian. It doesn't thrum with the energy of the obelisk. No arcane guardians stand by to defend it. But magic still lingers here. Like a fire hydrant that's broken, it's spewing energy from the obelisk system. and you can see as you scout around it somewhat careful, not getting too close, just at least complete one circle or circuit. It's... there's an entrance, a cave entrance, man-made. It looks like buried in the sand there was a stone door It was unearthed and the doors opened and you see darkness within some subterranean. It's pretty big. You could drive your Crodlu through it, maybe not your wagon, but there's a whole undercroft under this. And either someone went in there or somebody went out. And you know that it was recent. Because, you know, time. This object changed its state. Not yesterday. It was more like three weeks ago. And as the caravan catches up and there's some conversation, and the more brave a few sally forth to see what she's on about, you see this dungeon luring at you, offering secrets. And you consider your options. You could use a campsite. Lise doesn't seem to be thickening. She's curious about the damage that was done to it, so she's gonna re- Yeah, you can do- you can analyze like the fragments on the surface. As you're considering this, zoom back. Far, far away. Nearby. You have so many minions! You've got your Slave Man, you've got Megalots, you've got a Monkey, you've got a Frozen Hummingbird. This is this. Two Frozen Hummingbirds. This is what happens when you have a share. We got the hummingbird, but... Fine, we can share them because they're all going to share them anyways. They can live in the garden and they'll be very happy. And then maybe they can make hummingbird hames. Yeah. Then I can mutate them so that their genetic material will be enough for them to reproduce. Well, they may, yeah, they're different. They don't want to have inbreeding hummingbirds. Oh, I mean, you don't want the mutations in red. Greekish hummingbirds. I mean, their generations are pretty short, so it wouldn't take long before things got ugly. Can you crossbreed them with other birds? I'll just alter them. You can make the monkey sentient. I might awaken him. He could be like that monkey for future hours. He's got to be the gardener on your way. He's like a great gardener. She. That's right, I forgot. She. She and the baby that you traded away. I have multiple babies. What now? You're waking up and you traded away more dates? Lemur's good birth to one to six babies depending on the case. I figure she probably has like six-ish. I'm lucky. The bigger ones can sometimes only have one. It's literally a D6 babies. Twins do happen. Takes 4.5 months. She's really early. She's in like the morning sickness phase. Because Nibbler deserves some space. I'll let you guys out in a minute. He pukes out like a bunch of pears and Vis is like... Water. Can't waste water. It's not ill. It's so gross. There would be like dried pear starch. Something's gotta happen to the stuff that gets purified out of it. When we find out- No, it was clarified. So solids come out unaltered. Yeah. After all of the water is removed, all fluids that are not- like mercury, I guess we just come out. But like whatever is in the water, you know, is turned into solid. It precipitates out. It is absolute pure distal water. In fact, if you drink too much of it, you need some salt. You will get the hyponatremium. And their salt will come out, especially if you pee and eat. You pour it out and the water comes out and then the salt is coming out. And like urea and stuff. It's a fascinating little piece of chemistry. That only on Athos would that be a less complicated magic item than a portal to the elemental plane of water. It's much more difficult. I mean, you're reversing entropy, you're turning low energy state matter into high energy state matter. It's got so many applications. It is actually, you can tell this is made using the magic of the portal. It's made by an arcanist. And in fact, he didn't know it's a minor magic item. This is probably something made either by a sorcerer or a king. This is not something you could buy in a marketplace. He, well, he didn't steal it. He got it in a adventure, but he certainly didn't purchase it. I was going to say there's been much less pee drinking in this adventure than I expected. I mean, I always... Drink the pee water! And that's the end of the recording.
