Infusions
They're spells that buff equipment.
Glossary:
- Attuned: Every PC has 3 attunement slots, which can be occupied by attuned magic items. Attuned infusions occupy one of these slots. They do not require concentration.

Inventions
Thingies that do cool shit.
Each invention requires a Power Core. You have X of those (let's say 1 at 1st level, 3 by 7th level, pretty much caps out there), although they can be swapped between inventions out of combat.
Power Cores make the item work as described. However, they can be overcharged, allowing for a burst of power. After overloading a core, it (and the item it's slotted into) is useless for 1 round, after which its baseline power returns, and its overload ability goes on a recharge 33%.

Dragonfire Gauntlet
Base abilities:
- Flame Jet: aw std cone 3; med fire.
- Rocket Punch: aw std; move up to 3 then punch for heavy fire bludgeoning dmg.
- (Overload) Fireball: std rg b3; heavy fire.
Enhancements
Rank 1
- Rocket Punch increases to 6 squares and you can use it as a move action without punching.
- Half fire damage is also ongoing 3 rds

- Fire Eater: absorb fire damage to gain overload charge
