- Drain Life: At-will, std, ranged; medium necrotic damage, plus you gain the same as temporary Hit Points (lasting the encounter).
- Drain Soul: At-will, swift, ranged; you gain a fragment of the subject's soul called a Soul Shard, which can be used in one of the following ways:
- Fetish: you drain one of the subject's ability scores. They suffer a -4 penalty to that score while the soul shard exists, and you gain +4 to the same score. Lasts up to 24 hours.
- Phylactery: you use the soul fragment as the component for a phylactery (see Create Phylactery), if you are capable of creating those.
- Steal Ability: you gain access to a single chosen power, feat, or skill that the subject possesses, while you retain the shard. Lasts up to 24 hours. To use the ability, you must meet its prerequisites.
- Redirect Divination: you can create a magic item that causes divinations against you to detect the subject, or vice versa, for 24 hours.

Soul Shards can now be used for:
- Fooling a spell, ward, or magical effect into thinking you are its caster
- Reading thoughts, attempting to implant thoughts or emotions, spying on subject's senses, attempting to inject sensory input
- Crushing it causes 1 negative level to the subject, destroying the shard
