Conjure Shield: At-will, swift; you conjure into being a shield, of a type with which you are proficient, that fits in either one or two of your hands. In all respects, it acts as an ordinary version of that shield, although it is magical in nature, and ceases to exist in a dead magic or antimagic zone. It can be made of pure energy, translucent force, or just appear to be a reasonable facsimile of the real thing--that's entirely up to you and doesn't affect its usefulness.
Empower Shield: At-will, swift; you conjure magical power into a physical shield you are currently holding. The shield gains a bonus damage die to mitigation rolls.

Absorb Force: Your shield doesn't just mitigate damage--it stores it for later use. Tally all damage your shield blocks (no stack limit, but expires at the end of the encounter if unused). At will, as a free action, you can augment any physical or Force attack you make, adding any portion of the stored energy--or all of it--to the damage of the attack (before rolling to hit).
