First Level
At first level, you receive:
- 6 HP
- Proficiency in the Sympathy skill, as well as 4 skills of your choice
At each level, including first, you receive:
- Two new spells (or upgrades to existing spells)
- Two points of Mana
- 3 HP (except first level)
Sympathy
Sympathy is a skill representing a deep and humble understanding of the sympathetic nature of magic. Witches know that no spell exists in a vacuum, that no weal or woe worked by magic vanishes from the system, but is rather transmitted through the interconnected mass of all living things, until inevitably it revisits its originator. This gives them the special ability to sense--and even exploit--the karmic "debt", as it were, that any given practitioner has accumulated through their works.
- Sympathy allows you to learn and cast spells from the Divination, Illusion, Mentalism, Necromancy, and Thaumaturgy schools. It also grants the exclusive sphere of Blood.
- The skill is based on Wisdom.
- The Color of Magic: Chroma. For now, let's just say that you get Inspiration at witchily-appropriate moments.
Talents
At level 1, 5, 9, 13, and 17, you may choose one talent for which you qualify.

- Whenever you spend Mana, you enter a state of mild euphoria, healing you for 1 HP per Mana spent, and granting advantage to any pain-based effects for one minute.
- Any spell that has the capability of discriminating between "friend" and "foe" has a 10% chance to consider you a friend, regardless of the caster's intention. |- |Felicity ||[[Clarity]] ||When you Detect Magic using Felicity, you see more than most. You can see through illusions, you can detect alignment at will, and you understand the purpose of any spell you observe.
