Adaptation
Swift, concentration; you adapt your body to a condition that you are either currently experiencing or could be experiencing if you were in another position within range. Choose one condition:
- Heat: gain Resist 50% (fire). You remain comfortable in conditions up to extreme heat (140 F).
- Cold: gain Resist 50% (cold). You remain comfortable in conditions up to extreme cold (-40 F).
- Toxic Atmosphere: gain the ability to filter out toxins in the atmosphere. As long as the oxygen partial pressure is within normal bounds (0.16 bar, approx. 20k feet altitude on Earth), you can breathe just fine.
- Underwater: gain the ability to breathe latent oxygen underwater. As long as you remain at a depth where oxygen is plentiful (and are not otherwise harmed by the pressure), you can breathe.
- Pressure: gain the ability to survive at pressures from 0 to 10 atmospheres. This adaptation protects you from compression and expansion, but does not affect your ability to breathe.
Notes
TBD: there will exist some way to stack multiple adaptations.
