Nausicaa is a wingship, a rare and unusual craft built on the island of Skuld in Narga. She was named for a figure in Escali myth, a princess of a sea kingdom beyond the known horizon. Like all wingships, she is capable of long sea voyages, since she can outrun most nautical hazards, and can be sailed as far as her crew can take her. She is a relatively new vessel, about 15 years old, no doubt built as part of a fleet used by Nar rebels against the Empire. How she came to be in the Dragon Isles is open for debate.
