House du Lythe

A major house of Brinn, long-time lords of the Duchy of Brechy, a crucial and wealthy region that encircles Cardien.

The Lythes are old blood, long intermixed with the royal house of Varlyr. The bear no love to the Usurper, but due to the follies of young love, their heir Trelaine du Lythe is married to The Hand's siren.

HRH Éliane du Lythe	Princess Consort of Brinn	The Face That Ended A Dynasty	1152 (dec.)	A woman of great beauty, betrothed to Crown Prince Rivalen du Varlyr, though she loved another...his own bastard brother. They warred over her, tearing the kingdom and the family apart. She died, though her son Tristan du Varlyr survived.
HM Amandine Aslaney	Queen Consort of Valte		1154 (dec.)	Rosaire's daughter, wed to Ibram Aslaney, King of Valte. Raped and killed by Ahrimids during the sacking of Anagor. Mother of current queen Ayse Aslaney.
HG Robert du Lythe	Duke of Brechy	Robert the Unready, the Shrinking Violet	1159	Son of Rosaire, current Duke of Brechy. Did nothing when the usurper and his Dacian puppet master slew his sisters and their children. Largely worked around by Vivienne, who all but runs the duchy herself.
HL Trelaine du Lythe	Heir to the duchy	The Prince Troubadour	1178	Vivienne's favorite, groomed to succeed his father as a proper Lythe, his heart was stolen by Eveline d'Laurent, the Hand's Siren, and they were wed. Most decry his foolish heart and assume Vivienne has given up on grandson and son alike; others wonder who exactly is playing whose heartstrings, as Trelaine is widely considered the fairest and most gallant lord in the realm.
