Paths
Paths are secondary advancement for PCs, variously called "archetypes", "colleges", "schools", etc in 5e. In 5e Advanced, these are unified into a single list.
Path List
Original 5e Paths
All paths in the Player's Handbook are available to those using PHB classes. If using such a path, the listed abilities take effect at the level listed in the PHB, rather than that given by the Progression Rules of 5e Advanced.
In the long term, these legacy paths will be replaced.
New Paths
At level 1, 5, 9, 13, and 17, you may choose a new path, gaining the abilities of that path at rank 1, or you may advance any path you already have by one rank. Not all paths are class-specific, so note the requirements.
