Oils
To use an oil, you throw it as a swift action. Target a given square as a thrown weapon, and use a scattergram of some kind if you miss.
When the oil hits a creature, object, or surface, the container shatters, and the oil covers either the target or an area (refer to oil's description). It then lasts for up to 5 rounds, or until triggered by another incoming effect.
- Flame Oil: This oil is highly flammable. It covers either one creature or object or one square. If struck by a fire effect, it bursts into flames, inflicting half the fire effect's damage as ongoing damage over 3 rounds.
- Frost Oil: This oil is highly conducive to heat transfer. It covers a spread 2. If struck by a frost effect, said effect is repeated for all other targets in area, plus all targets are chilled (50% movement penalty and 50% frost vulnerability) for 2 rounds.
