Ranged Weapons

Ranged weapons have additional factors to consider.

Missile weapons suffer a -1% chance to hit per square of distance. The maximum range of any proper projectile weapon is vastly in excess of the size of the largest battle mats.

Thrown weapons suffer the usual miss chance, and their maximum range is equal to one square per point of Strength.

Reloading a ranged weapon, is, by default, a free action. Haste penalties exist for some weapons which can be slow to reload.
