Warforged
A Warforged is a golem, created by an engineer as a servant. It is a mindless construct, animated by an elemental spirit, able to understand simple instructions and programming in a single language chosen at the time of creation. It can speak the same language, with a very simple vocabulary.
Warforged are humaniform constructs, with chiseled features of solid wood covered with metal plates. Their joints are covered with studded leather, to form a complete humanoid silhouette. They appear anything but human, with simple, bald heads of wood and steel, and jaws of iron set ever in an intimidating scowl.
Warforged are strikers; that is, they excel at offense with physical weapons.
The base for a golem's statistics is equal to the level of the engineer who crafted it. Under the command of an Artificer, a golem improves with training, and it is instead based on the Artificer's level.

- Offensive Abilities
- Punch: At-will, std, melee attack; light physical damage. Can dual-wield.
- Articulate: Capable of wielding any melee or ranged weapon a normal human could wield. Damage per the weapon. Can also wield shields.
- Parry: When armed with a defensive weapon, gains a Parry rating of 10% + 1% per 2 levels.
- Block: When armed with a shield, gains a Block rating of 10% + 1% per 2 levels.
- Group Tactics: When attacking the same foe as you, Warforged gains +10% Hit and Critical Rating, and grants you and allies the same bonus against the foe.
- Charge: At-will, std, medium range; moves in a straight line toward target, then attacks, inflicting +100% physical damage plus stun 1 rd (Fort negates). Minimum distance is 2 squares of movement.
- Rend: Recharge 33%, std, melee attack; as normal melee attack, plus half ongoing for 3 rounds.
- Cleave: Recharge 33%, std; as normal melee attack, but chain 1/4.
- Sunder: Recharge 33%, std, melee attack; as normal melee attack, plus 20% physical vulnerability for 3 rounds (stacks and refreshes).
- Other Abilities
- Construct: Immune to disease and poison.
- Mindless: Immune to mental effects, except compulsions; a golem's ability to be programmed makes it impossible to be immune to compulsions.
- Fortification: 50%.
