Sight
- Vision: you have it (probably).
- Infravision: can see body heat in darkness (or all the time if you don't have Vision). No luck with cold objects. Attenuates normally (in other words, your sight doesn't have a max range, but normal distance modifiers apply to Perception)
- Echolocation: use ultrasound to sense edges in total darkness.
- Ultravision: can see ultraviolet light. Not always useful, but certain otherwise dark environments might have some of this.
- Vital Sight: sense life and undeath, regardless of heat signature. Can tell them apart. Magical in nature. (Many undead have this)
- Magical Sight: sense magic itself. Can sometimes use to see magical signatures on otherwise invisible subjects.
No such thing as generic "darkvision".
Hearing
- Hearing: Normal, human hearing. Can locate invisible subjects with Perception.
- Sonar: Similar to echolocation, but operating in a denser fluid medium (i.e. water).
Scent
- Scent: Natural, powerful scent (roughly equivalent to a dog). Humans don't have this. Can locate invisible creatures in short range who are not moving (narrow down to a square). Can track over long distances.
- Super-Scent: Blindsense in a given radius, based on scent. (Dragons have this)
