Willpower

Willpower is a Skill. It is based on Charisma.

Many powers use Willpower as a way to resolve conflicts, such as when dominating another's mind. The power will say how to use this skill in its description.

General

Rank Ability Description

Empower

Increase the damage of a power by +100% at the cost of 1 Mana. Stackable.

Enlarge

Increase the range of a power by +100% at the cost of 1 Mana. Stackable.

Extend

Increase duration of a power by +100% at the cost of 1 Mana. Stackable.

Widen

Increases the area of an area-effect power by +1 square (burst), +3 squares (cone or wide line), or +5 squares (narrow line). Can impart an area onto a previously single-target power (treat the original area as "0 squares"). Costs 1 Mana per stack.

Dominate

Impose your will upon another. This skill does not confer the ability to do so, but rather explains the rules that apply when another power gives you that ability (such as a spell). See Dominance for details.

Spellcaster

For spellcasters.

SP spent in this path improves your base spellcasting strength.

At-will, free, emanation 10; reserve 1 mana = +1 to checks for all allies. Max reserved = 1 mana/rank.

Second Wind

At-will, free, close burst 10; spend 1 Mana, all allies healed for 20% max hp. Max spent = 1 mana per rank.

Inspire Haste

At-will, free, emanation 10; reserve 1 mana = +1 to movement and dodge for all allies. Spend 1 mana to grant 1 AP worth of actions to all allies (usable once). Max spent/reserved = 3 per rank.

  • Critical Spellcasting: Your spells, without an implement, gain +1 to critical threat range. Stackable once per rank.
  • Intense Spellcasting: Your base spell damage dice, without an implement, increases by one die (i.e. 1d6 to 2d6, 2d6 to 3d6, etc). Stackable once per rank.
