Light

Light is a School of Powers.

Overview:

  • Color Spray: Cone of color cause various effects by color. (Evolves into Prismatic Spray)
    • Color Pool: Area imbues color properties on those who enter it, for better or worse.
    • Color Veil: Walls of color block or permit various things. (Evolves into Prismatic Wall)
    • Chromatic Orb: Orb of light persists, producing various effects. Gains powers as you add colors via spray, pool, or veil. With all colors, reaches maximum potential.
    • Chromatic Shield: Shield grants resistance to various things by color. Gains powers as you apply more colors to it.

For holy, see Holy. Color will probably spin off on its own, too. Not much binds these powers.

At-will, std, cone 3; random color causes various effects.

Color Pool

At-will, swift, short range, concentration; one square glows with a chosen color. Enemies suffer debilitations on turn start, allies gain enhancements.

Color Veil

At-will, swift, medium range, wall 1/Focus, concentration; wall of a single chosen color blocks certain effects, harms enemies trying to cross it.

Prismatic Spray

At-will, std, cone 5; enemies suffer multiple random color effects.

At-will, swift, medium range, wall 1/Focus, concentration; wall of every color blocks many effects.

Other bonus powers:

  • Jubilation: your Produce Light can produce lights of many colors, which can distract or dazzle enemies

Notes

Colors can cause damage, debilitations, and enhancements. In some configurations, they can block certain effects.

  • Spray Paint: (deleted; redundant with Color Pool)
  • Chromatic Shield (2 BP): Req rank 2. You may use a lesser version of Color Veil on yourself, granting a shifting damage shield. You gain Resist 50% to the first damage type of fire/frost/lightning to hit you in a given round, resetting at the top of each round. Costs 1 Energy per round, sustain free.
  • Rainbow Beam (2 BP): Your Color Spray can be changed to a line 2x10 or 1x20.

Wrathful

Holy damage plus blinded (Fort ends)

  • Searing Light: At-will, std, medium range; fires a beam of light so intense that it burns. Subject suffers nominal fire damage and is blinded for 1 round, Fortitude negates.
Control
  • Color Spray: At-will, std, medium range; orb of strange, clashing colores causes confusion in intelligent, sighted subject. Causes random effect (1d4):
    • 1- Subject is blinded for 1 rd
    • 2- Subject is confused for 1 rd
    • 3- Subject is stunned for 1 rd
    • 4- Subject is paralyzed for 1 rd
    • Note: subject may roll a Willpower save to mitigate to the next lesser effect (4->3, etc). If extended, subject may attempt this save each round.
